I am not one who believes in conspiracy theories, but the NBA playoffs this season have me thinking otherwise. The officiating has been nothing short of pure crap. I am not fan of the Cavs or the Warriors and don't really care who wins, however the BS the Cavs/James got away with last night was comical. The Cleveland Browns could only pray they had a running back that runs over players like James does. I have to agree with Steve Kerr, the last fouls on Curry were ridiculous. I will be pulling for the Warriors on Sunday only because I don't want to see Cleveland win a championship in any sport and I certainly don't want to see Princess James win another title.
Yep, no bias in that post. :joy:

think about what's at stake.......if GS wins, well," they were supposed to win anyway", curry could possibly lay claim to the new "face of the league" and the warriors are "maybe the best team ever" (according to record wins AND the title)

If the Cavs win, Lebron owns history,(down 3-1) elevates his already high position on the "greatest ever" ladder, IS the face of the league, and the warriors are str8 chokers.

I was in no way implying the series is over, I know exactly how this works, we will lose game 7 and be so close yet so far, again.
dont say that man! They've got momentum and bron, bron wants that bad... They've also got some injures that could cost'em ..

My few observations:
- The games have gotten very physical - that hurts GSW and helps CLE (It also almost got OKC into the finals). GSW is just not as physically strong - and the foul calling is inconsistent - so they've looked lost last two games.
- If GSW cannot shoot better - they are going to lose. Obvious - but they HAVE to hit shots, have not been and CLE HAS been the last two games. Harrioson Barnes was terrible last night.
- Lebron has been playing so well - he may be riding into game 7 too confident for GSW to stop. The ego beast has been fed.
- I've gained some respect for Kyrie in the series - still shoots too much - wants to be "THE MAN" - but more in the area of sportsmanship. I know he's a University of Douche alum.
- Curry, Klay and the GSW interior have been somewhat exposed the last two games - but hitting shots would have made that not so much the case. When a shooting team cannot shoot - they look terrible. When they can shoot - they look brilliant.
- Tristan Thompson is a great rebounder - but get's by with a ton of fouling underneath. Ezili is too often lost on defense.
- Richard Jefferson has been a huge boost for CLE this series - but bitches entirely too much after every call. #annoyingAF
- I know there are Curry haters here - and Lebron Haters here. I will just say this... Curry lost his mind out of sheer frustration last night and only fed his haters that he is a whiner and gets a pass on too many calls. Lebron on the other hand showed his true colors when he got the block on Curry and had to verbally taunt him - Lebron has matured greatly over the years especially in learning the right things to say in post game interviews and press conferences - but if anyone wonders why there are Lebron haters - there's your answer.
- Oh yes - and the officiating has been terrible, inconsistent and highly suspect. Makes you wonder who the NBA wants to win game 7. $$$

No matter how it seems, Kyrie is getting smoked by Curry head to head

Curry on offense vs Kyrie ISO 1.37ppp
Kyrie on offense vs Curry ISO 0.87ppp

The numbers aren't even comparable. But both teams switch ALOT. And JR and Iman are good perimeter defenders. JR actually needs more recognition for his perimeter defense. Played really well this year. They cover up Kyrie's D well

Never will understand how LeBron has managed to irritate so many for doing things so many others have done.

How, exactly, did he "dump" on Cleveland by leaving in the first place? He was a free agent, not under contract - that's how that works. Same for the second move back to Cleveland. he wanted to switch teams - why the big deal, happens all the time. Never understand those who criticized him for teaming up with two other stars (although I hesitate to call Bosch a star). By the time he left, Cleveland had proved they weren't interested in getting him any help - that team he took to the finals to play San Antonio might be the worst finals team in history. Mo Williams at point? It was easy for Magic and Bird and Barkley to criticize that move - but it made no sense. Bird had McHale and Parrish and DJ; Magic had Kareem; Barkley had Dr J and Moses. They didn't have to switch teams to have great teammates. As far as the "not 1, not 2, not 3...." - I know that self-aggrandizement at times doesn't go over well - but it's ironic that we just saw a worldwide celebration of Ali, and when it comes to bragging and boasting and self-aggrandizing, LJ can't hold a candle to Ali, he's a true piker. I know, I know, inconsistency is human nature......

He announced that he was leaving the Cavs with an ESPN special.

Not hard to see why that rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way. Especially Buckeyes. :joy:

Don't really care who wins but you're pulling for the Warriors and calling LeBron princess James? Yep, you're certainly objective about the officiating. Golden State gets away with more fouling and moving screens and push offs than any other team in history. Curry led the league in steals but never fouled out before last night, and only had one game where he even got 5 fouls called. No ones that good a defender. James gets mauled all game long. I didn't even like him till I noticed all the irrational hate for him for no particular reason.

Odds are very long still for the Cavs to win the title. Golden State is 50-4 at home this year was 39-2 in the regular season and 11-2 in the playoffs.

Golden State has not lost 3 games in a row in the last 2 years.

Curry and Klay have yet to have that monster game where they go for 40 points and shoot the lights out so they are due.

Trying to win at Golden State for a 2nd time is going to be nearly impossible. Curry is hearing all the "how great" LeBron talk is and how he has been a let down so he will come out fired up at home.

That home crown will be insane and if GS jumps to an early lead it may cause Cleveland to be rattled as a team even if LeBron is not.

I would be very shocked if Cleveland completes the most epic comeback in NBA finals history. This all sets up for either the greatest comeback in NBA finals history ending a 52 year run of pain for this city or just yet another heart break for Cleveland fans. Odds are its the later.

After the antics of Draymond and Curry starting to talk more trash and his temper tantrum Thursday and his wife starting to run her mouth like she's ever played the game of basketball....I am sincerely hoping the Cavs blow the doors off of the Warriors Sunday.

Momma Curry is beginning to buy me to no end. First she calls out LeBron for his taking the high road comment, then she bitches about sitting on a bus too long, then she cries about the NBA being rigged and then when she realizes she screwed up she blames it on her daddy being "racially profiled" and almost arrested before the game so that's why she was so emotional. I mean they knew of a con artist who resembled her dad that was apparently trying to get into the building that night. If they gave out a warning that a dude who favored Denzel was in the building I don't think they would be stopping Any white dudes and that isn't racially motivated...it's called GD common sense. Daddy looked like a crook...not because he was black but because he LOOKED LIKE THE CROOK.

Seems like momma got a little publicity off the back of her husband and now thinks she has a place at the table with all the other big boys who are listened to when they talk.
