Feeling normal (finally) from Vegas. Friday - Tuesday night was a pretty good run.
-Didn't think much of The Palazzo initially, but the place grew on me. It's comfortable. Nice enough. Doesn't blow your mind like The Wynn or Aria, but nice. Really liked the pools, but the casina wasn't too high energy.
-Sushi Samba, STK, and Table 10. SS was average (although cool), STK was cool but loud, Table 10 was pretty dope.
-Is Vegas slipping as far as service goes? Was pretty much an issue everywhere we went. Didn't ruin anything, but it just wasn't up to the standard I have always experienced in Vegas.
-Man, a few days out there always reminds me of how 'normal' life in Kentucky is. I mean, some of these people/clothes/hair... shew. I couldn't keep up.
-Crushed Tito's on the rocks out there. And Miller Lites.
-I don't know, man. Think I may have finally gotten "over" Vegas. It was fun, but didn't consume me like it always has in the past. I was up late most nights with the GAMBOLS, but in bed at relatively reasonable times. I was ready to come home, but wasn't crawling to the airport or anything. Thinking about heading back out there for conference tourney weekend in March... see if I can't change that.
-Won about $600. Was up all trip. So that was nice.
