I thought I saw where Wiltjer and Lee had the same vertical at the combine. But I may have misunderstood something? I feel like they both were around 35 inches which was shocking for both.

I'm not looking it up.

^ exactly what I'm talking about. If you read the combine #s on any given year, you'll see all sorts of things like that.

- That Memorial trip is going to be hilarious. Wish I wasn't out of town that weekend. I hope every golfer wins the tournament.

- Weekend:
Friday- probably roll down early to Taste of Cincinnati, grab a bite and a couple brews, leave by the time the streets start filling up with vagabonds and the tatted masses
Saturday- absolutely nothing planned
Sunday- OTR pub crawl for my buddy's wife's birthday

- Best OTR patios:

1. Neon's- when it's not crowded
2. Krueger- rooftop, underrated scene
3. Kaze- just a great layout all around
4. Wise Guys- always loved this one, even when it was Mayberry, but they need to do more with it, open up the outside bar, for one

Impulse "thoughtful" surprise purchase for my wife from months ago just resurfaced - REAL country music extravaganza Saturday at Papa John's. :boom:

Kenny Chesney
SAM HUNT!!! :fire::fire::fire:
Miranda Lambert
Old Dominion

Oh well, I'm sure I'll end up having a good drunken time per usual, while listening to authentic country music. At least my cowboy friend JoeyTheBonz will be there.

These concerts are far and away my highest "point earning" thing I can do with my wife. A few per year pretty much opens up any doors I need for myself.

I agree a lot of it doesn't make sense.

But, a lot of "basketball athleticism" comes from not how high you can jump, it's how high you can jump with as little effort as possible. Freak athletes like Poythress or Noel put their head on the rim without even gathering themselves or bending their knees. I remember a Bill Simmons pod they were talking about that with Dwight Howard, he could jump and even second jump or jump off each foot without so much as bending a knee...now, he can still jump but it he has to crouch down and use his arms.

I'm sure the water fountain, whatever his vert is, probably jumps like Mark Pope getting ready to shoot a freebie.

I wasn't a huge Pope fan at the time, he was just so lumbering compared to the jaw-dropping talent on that team...he was fine -- didn't hate him Pricket style by any stretch -- guess I was just too young to really appreciate all that he brought.

These days, I'd love to have a guy like him on EVERY team. Throw him down low last year instead of the pussies we rotated around, for example.

Pope was smart, physical and skilled for a 6'10" kid. Hell, he knocked down 36% from 3 his senior year. He'd be a valuable player on any team.

Monk got his rep off his stupid hops and range on his J, but his basketball IQ and playmaking stood out to me in those AS games. I'm sure he'll turn the ball over a bit and take some ill-advised shots, but he was much more polished than I previously believed.

His J is said to be streaky, but I'm wondering if better teammated and shot selection will lead to better consistency. That would be pretty awesome.

The biggest take away from the crappt AS games was when Bam made a nice interior pass instead of forcing up a shot through a defender. All I needed to see.

I heard a lot about the lack of interior scoring during the Bolden recruitment, but I don't really agree. First off, interior scoring is much more than just back-to-the-basket post play, especially in 2016. It's about offensive rebounding and just having a physical presence on offense. Plus, Adebayo isn't Terrence Jones. He isn't a combo forward. He's a true post who also has some perimeter skills. I think he can develop a more mature post game pretty easily under Cal and Payne.

I'm not really a country music snob, I prefer Sturgill and Stapleton but I can enjoy some Aldean, Church, etc. I don't even hate FGL with the fury that most do...

However, Sam Hunt is absolutely unlistenable to me. Like, his music makes me angry it's so bad.

I hate everything about him- from his singsong style to his cheesy lyrics to the way he dresses. He's awful. Of course, every female out there loves him, including my girl. I don't get it.

Women and terrible people are taking over the world. For example, Sportscenter had an interview this morning with Jacob Degrom and Noah Syndergaard -- two long hairs and incredibly talented young Met pitchers.

It was PRESENTED BY AXE, lead by Sabrina Morales, and the entire discussion was about their hair.

Women. Terrible people. F*** you.

Lol, every song is the same. He talks (raps?) during the verses, and then sings some chorus.

Of course, the lass absolutely worships. :flushed:

(So does Black Mike, fwiw)

Still easy to have fun at a big concert, no matter who is really performing. Small sacrifice a few times a year for me with all the **** that I get to do. $300 bucks though? :weary:

Hope Kenny does a lot of his older stuff...his newer stuff is awful imo.

FGL has some good songs, IDGAF what anyone says or how cheesy they may be. Of course, they have way more awful ones, but that goes for every mainstream artist in any genre.

I've stopped even casually flipping it over to sports channels (other than the golf channel) if there isn't a game on. I can't stand any of it anymore. Whatever happened to showing us the highlights in an entertaining manner?

I don't give a **** what an athlete tweets. I don't give a **** what Vinny-Wop Northeast tweets. I don't give a **** if Lebron had cheese fries for dinner. I just flat out don't give a f*ck about anything they say.

Show highlights. Show games. Otherwise, GTFO.

-This new age bedazzled jean pop country is terrible. TS. I don't know who Sam Hunt is but I can tell I don't like him.

-Loved Mark Pope.

-Went out for a run this morning, 5 minutes in I heard thunder followed by a torrential downpour. Lol. Went ahead and finished the run as I couldn't get any more drenched.

If KC doesn't sing "Grandpa Told Me So", there ought to be a damn riot. Best song in his catalog, imo.

No clue on Sam Hunt. Then again, I'm usually at least a month behind on anything popular being played on the radio. I usually hear about songs/artists lurking GYERO. I'm a talk radio kind of dude.

Welp, TSA reads GYERO. Was flying out of EWR, and the TSA pre-check wasn't even a real one, it was the one where you get a GD laminated card you have to hold, then get to leave on your shoes, but still have to take everything out of your bags. So it's moving slow as ****, and then, THEN, from the Precheck line, I get randomly pulled out for a full pat down from a heavy set Indian man. No dinner, no drinks, just a lot of ball cupping.

TSA Precheck. The worst.

So, this clothing line RVCA.

What is this?

Best I can tell, it geared towards dark skinned Persian types, and trashy cigarette chugging whites (like tommyg). Fess up, how many of you assswipes wear this crap?

Expanding their audience to get casual fans (see: females).

- He dresses like a complete hipster, but not the kind of hipster who worships Grizzly Bear- no, the worst kind, the fairweather trendy bastard who ebbs and flows whatever the style of the moment is- was a winja in high school, southern prep in college and now a hipster in East Nashville. I guarantee he's a Duke fan, too.

- **** at any random people's houses?

Went w/ Subway...inspired by Llama. Double Chicken Chopped salad.

Also ordered/paid online -- a first. Pulled up to drive thru & they handed me my bag & I was off -- spent about 35 seconds on the property. Upgraded Subway experience, if there is such a thing. Highly recommend.

-What's "surprising" about a loaded greasy pizza being good? I'm sure I eat more pizza than anyone on here, but not for a work lunch. Learn timing.

Does this feature still allow fat, annoying nurses to bogart the line, and pay with 14 different methods meticulously separated in plastic baggies?
