wow, glad rax admitted to being a catty little *****. Do you powder your labia when you're gossiping?

Legitimately had some family stuff where I'm either not in Lex on Sunday until late or doing something related to that. Hopefully it will get better soon

Botulism. Very serious, especially in children. It affects the autonomic nervous system, can lead to paralysis and death.

I mean, I'm no real proponent of most fast food chains...but if the mood strikes me for a burger, of the common chains, the Whopper is my choice.

You tartar sauce eating burger boys might as well be gargling ****.

That's my doc right there!

Haven't been many great games these playoffs. Interesting storylines but a lot of blowouts.

The Eagle, a Cincinnati restaurant focused on craft beer and chicken, has found a place to roost in Louisville.

The restaurant will take El Camino‘s place at 1314 Bardstown Road.

“We are very interested in being in the Bardstown Road area,” said Joe Lanni, co-founder of Thunderdome Restaurant Group. “We really feel like that is one of the best locations in Louisville.”

Thunderdome Restaurant Group owns The Eagle, as well as Bakersfield, Krueger’s Tavern, SOHI Grilled Sandwiches and Currito. The company will lease the space from El Camino’s owners.

Meanwhile, El Camino is moving. Co-owner Shawn Cantley said he and his co-owners are negotiating terms for a new space, but he wasn’t ready to reveal where since all the legal paperwork isn’t signed. But he emphasized that El Camino will reopen, and it is not shutting down.

Was excited about El Camino when it opened...bad location? That patio is among the best in town. There have been 2 restaurants there in the 15 years I've lived here...Avalon had a good run. El Camino sucked, however -- at least that was my one impression.

If Eagle is as good as everyone says, it should crush it there. It being from Cincy though, I will remain skeptical.

So, one week out from The Memorial [cheers]

...Twitter Granite Dude came through with 4 free passes for Friday & Saturday. Not sure what type they are, would feel like a dbag asking (given they are free from a stranger) -- but do know they came from someone on the CBS Sports Crew.

ABH has us hooked up w/ a house party setup on #7 w/ the works, and a few other wildcat friends have options there as well.

Can't wait. Anyone heard if there is anyone mature & responsible going with us to make sure we all are okay?

Not even a great patio can save you in the long run if your food is mediocre to bad. If El Camino had food as good as Taco Luchador, I doubt they would be packing their bags.

Now that everybody's roster is pretty much is set, I think it's safe to go ahead and say that the SEC is going to be absolute trash next year.

Good thing our non-conference schedule is loaded, because it will be impossible to get any "quality wins" in conference play.

Ugh.

Ate at El Camino once. You could argue that space is the best patio setup in Louisville. Didn't think much of the food.

Like what I've read about The Eagle. A vast selection of crafties on that patio should be dope.

Ate at Bourbon's last weekend with the lass and my buddy from Charleston who is in town for business and to see some gal he met over Derby weekend. Place seems to get lost in the shuffle. Had one of the best filets I've ever had there.

Taking the lass to Volare tomorrow night for our 3 year anniversary. Haven't been there in 8 years or so. Looking forward to it.

I care much more about atmosphere than actual food, which is the big reason I love The Eagle. It's OTR location is really cool- great bar, outstanding lighting, interesting layout.. The food- fried chicken, jalapenos grits, bacon, etc- is good but not going to change your life. That said, there is a one hour wait there at all times. That place and Bakersfield are packed from open to close every day.

I feel like vertical jumps are overrated, in many instances. Some of the numbers don't make any sense when you look who they are attributed to sometimes when compared to others who obviously jump better and are more explosive (with a basketball in their hands).

Obviously, Monk is a freak.
