Now is probably a good time to be in the mosquito repellent biz. Anyone actually ever use one of those yard fogger services that comes by and sprays toxic fumes all over your home and yard? Tell any difference?

Worked with a girl that did this work on the side for her aunt. She said it works great. You have to keep getting the treatments but not sure how often.

I would think it means he's back, but I suppose it could also mean he doesn't want to damage his stock any more, or that he got some kind of feedback/info from a team (false)

He's not getting drafted, period. Nor should he.

* I don't really have a favorite NBA team. I loved the Celtics growing up. But I think a Towns/Murray duo would have me rooting for the TWolves.

Definitely not at a Chumps level, but those two are impossible to root against.

* I like to watch them play and appreciate their awesomeness, but I am rooting for Curry and the Warriors to lose.

Mainly because of the casual fan/Mike and Mike types who desperately want to label someone the best of all time in something/anything all of the time.

* OTR Friday night for Buckeye Marge's bday.

* Smoking some pork on Sunday and transporting it up to the in laws. I'm guessing wrapping in a towel and placing in a cooler is the best way to do this? It's only a 20-minute or so drive.

* UK fan is at his worst in situations like the current Lee/Bolden scholly squeeze.

*

Send Tai packing ftw. That kid won't play a minute here. Mulder won't either.

Cal could help find great opportunities for both elsewhere. I suppose it would be a bad look, but I really don't care about that **** anymore, people hate him/us regardless.

That should work fine.

Hopefully they will be appreciative of your efforts, and not chastise you for stinking up their house with your obnoxious pork.

-Actually flying to Palm Springs on Thursday morning for our franchise conference. Supposed to golf on Saturday at the TPC Stadium course. May or may not keep score. We are staying at the La Quinta Resorts by Waldorf Astoria or some kind of conglomeration of hotel names. Supposed to be a bunch of little casitas and 41! pools.

-Willy, wrap it in 2 layers of foil, some towels, and toss in a cooler. I've kept mine at temp for 3 hrs that way. I can only imagine what it would be like in a Yeti! cooler but alas, I only own a coleman.

-Anyone tried the Jack Rudy Elderflower tonic? Any good?

(Tim Duncan won 56 games in his first season and Karl Towns won 29 is his major example) and whatever.

Talk about cherry picking. The only reason San Antonio was in the damned lottery to begin with was an injury to NBA All Star David Robinson. They had won 59 games the season before Robinson's injury limited him to 6 games played. Just pure dumb luck Duncan went to a team that, when healthy, was already a playoff team.

Don't know where for dinner yet. Her choice. She is leaning Taste of Belgium, but I'm subtly trying to get her to look into other options.

Probably hit a few spots for drinks after. You guys gonna be around?

Why? I love me some Taste of Belgium. Hit Sundry & Vice or Vestry after for a drink. Both are cool spots.

Probably not. We have to be in Cleveland for a wedding by 1pm on Saturday.

Hey Chad,

When is your wedding gonna be? I'm making out my schedule for next year and I'd like to save the date, or at least the bachelor party AM I RITE.

TIA

I wanted something I haven't had before. She changed her pick to Abigail Street. Menu looks good.

As the kids get older, we plan to have more and more dinner date nights and hit OTR. So many places we haven't tried.

The last smoked pork I did ended in disaster.

Don't get me wrong, it was as delicious as you would expect. I had already hand-pulled it, place it in a Pyrex dish, put a lid on it, and stuck it in my oven (non heated) before I took off to the Derby Party I was bringing it to. It was about 7 pounds of delicious pulled pork ready to be devoured.

Then the wife came in and preheated the oven to 400 to make the kids some chicken nuggets or some crap. The plastic melted all over the pork and that was that.

I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure that's how most Dateline's start.

When do you plan to fill your pond?

It is already in beautiful condition.

With the rain we have had, it has not needed more water.

I add a capful of algae inhibitor every weekend and just a few drops of blue water shading each month.

My only battles are with algae (it is in full sun all day) and plant eating wildlife like swans and deer.

The water lilies grew back and there are currently seven lily pads which have provided cover for the goldfish and made them more active.

They should start blooming when the weather warms up.

I do need to add some forget-me-nots to the shallow shelf and replace the oxygenating plants that the swan devoured.

And with the fish and waterfall, there are zero mosquitos. Zero.

Thanks for asking… it means a lot.

So, question for all the NBAs- how good do you think Murray will be at the next level?

-What wcc said the other day is true. Reading a few pages at once of GYERO does remind me how funny you all are.

-I didn't take notes this time so I might forget a few things I wanted to reply to.

-I'm glad I was pregnant last summer. This zika stuff is scary. Thoughts out to Mrs. Richie and Mrs. BBdK and whoever else is pregnant.

-Oh wait, the BBdK's aren't having kids ever. Or at least not for several more years. Or... well, but she's gonna go ahead and get tested for zika just in case. And they just took that trip to Europe to check off a "before kids" bucket list item. Okay.

-Yeah Chad, when is the wedding?

-Our neighbor has a pond and that thing breeds mosquitoes. I don't care what you say about flowing water and goldfish, Willy. We also have a house on our block with a swimming pool in the back yard that hasn't been touched in YEARS. Disgusting. How do you get the city to fix that cesspool?

-G took one step yesterday (towards me, thankyouverymuch)!!! Eek. The childproofing continues.

-Bobby, your pork is obnoxious even if it's tasty.

-G looks at the pictures on the fridge and seems to say "dada" when looking at pics with Anth in them. He also calls the picture of him and Tai Wynyard "dada" so there's that.

I mean, if he's gonna do it in the fall, do it this year when we don't really care about football.

BUT NOT DURING KEENELAND.

As a hen, I will say that is one thing guys don't really think of when proposing. When you propose can really affect when you get married. Women need time to plan a proper wedding. For instance, Anth735 proposed to me in January. That was too short of a time to plan a wedding at the location with wanted with the vendors we wanted in between Derby and football season of that year. So we had to bump it back to the following May. And that made for a pretty long engagement.

Our babysitter wanted to get married before they move across the country together in August. Her man proposed in February, and she had to quickly plan a wedding in less than 5 months. It's all working out fine, but it was pretty stressful. And she was lucky to have a job where she could spend several hours a day "planning" while the baby napped.

Anyways, just food for thought, Chad. No pressure, of course.
