Bilas is a very smart guy and he knew the fix was in and went along with it. He's making a lot of money at Espn and apparently that's more important than calling out the NCAA on this one.
Now we know how the bureaucracy happens. In order to remove a possible nasty violation, they have an institution find new violations to replace the scathing ones. This generates a new NOA and everyone's face is magically saved. Amazingly simple to keep the status quo train a rollin'.

UK fans should flood Mitch's email requesting/demanding(?) UNC to not ever be scheduled. If they are, threaten to boycott the game.
This is just utterly ridiculous.
Sadly I doubt more than 10 percent of the UK fans who would attend the game would know what went down with UNCheat.
Sad day for college athletics. I'm about done investing emotionally into it anymore. They announced today that the playing field isn't level, and UNC and Duke(we already knew) were untouchable. From the media slurping to the national media the NCAA will do anything to protect the ACC gang. Syracuse should have got much worse than they got, Louisville won't get much more than that. It is what it is folks.
Hard to invest emotion in a college hoops when the WWE has more integrity. Plus watching our guys mass exodus every year with nothing to show for it is getting old. 2 players on this years past team at the most should be going to the draft. We are currently becoming a NBA tryout center while 2 of the last four years not getting out of the first weekend and losing 10+ games a year. I've become tired of hanging recruiting championships.

Every school that has played Carolina the last 30 years should have an asterisk by Carolina's name in the series between the schools in their sports information book. They cheated and their wins are tainted, if the NCAA isn't going to do something, every team that has ever played them should hang that tag on them.

Yes UNC cheating is the point and now the NCAA has said that 3 national titles they got from cheating are OK what is the point to really invest in this sport. If you guys are like me I do anything I can to watch the cats play, but with this and the crooked officiating, the crooked bracket makers, what is the point? Its not what is used to be, it all revolves around money and in college basketball the ACC= money. Same as SEC in football as the Cam Newton situation taught us.

The nice thing about living in a free country is you have the option of not watching if you're so unhappy. No one is forcing you to be a fan. It's your choice.
So SMU had a player caught cheating on A test to get eligible and they got a postseason ban this year. UNC puts people on the Deans list for 18 years and giving out free degrees and nothing happens. ESPN will do nothing about it. ESPN made UL the main story for about a month( not that I didnt enjoy that) but this UNC scandal is 100000x worse. They would put anyone else(besides duke) on the cross for this. I'm talking UK would lose all the NCs and wins and Cal would be put on a 30 year show cause.
