Why would UNC release a bunch of NOA about the football and bball teams anyway? It would only hurt recruiting and hurt the bottom line - football and mens bball are the jewels to protect. If the punishment will end up being losing a couple of scholarships and vacating past wins and hopefully a championship, it does them no good by putting a cloud over recruiting until 2017 when the punishment comes out, makes sense for them to not even mention mens bball and football for the time being.

No, the redacted portions are those blanks in the document where there shouldn't be long blanks. Redacted pages are included. Redacted and withheld are not the same.

I have posted for months now exactly what would happen as UNC's propaganda has been clear. Women's basketball has been setup to take the fall.

So get this straight. UNC creates the largest cheating scandal in history and they hide it in AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES. Then, when they get caught, they throw the WOMEN under the bus. Also, don't forget they got predominantly minority students to pretend they had learning disabilities to stay qualified.

Yet not a PEEP from women's groups or the African American folks. Amazing. Just truly amazing.

According to the NCAA... Yes. They have more authority with kids in high school than they do kids in the NCAA when it comes to cheating. But it all is selective enforcement and favoritism. I posted the other day about issues like Cam Newton getting away with being paid to play and OSU getting hammered for signing items. That institution is as corrupt as they come.

I want to believe this but Cunningham isn't going to say that the amended NOA replaces the original unless he knows it to be fact. That is a huge detail to screw up so I doubt he's lying. Or maybe I'm overestimating him.

I wouldn't put it past him a bit. What would it hurt at this point to mislead? Certainly for recruiting it helps to give the perception men's bball and football are out of the woods

And they aren't going to be in the top tier for the next two seasons at least and probably a little longer. Roy hasn't made a FF from anywhere but the 1 seed line in 23 years.

The NCAA must be disbanded. Whatever it takes it must be destroyed utterly. No trace left. In an era of failed institutions and complete loss of faith they are the very epitome of an infected failed institution. Whatever power Kentucky has a University and as a State has to be done with them it must be made immediately clear they are not welcome as any part of anything we do. The fact Roy was able to chew on the thought of this year's championship for a few seconds after MP hit the improbable 3, only to have it ripped from his f*cking mouth shortly thereafter, still makes me smile.
