Love you guys too. Sure I deserve a lot of the grief I get on here, but I play into it as well. Sometimes you gotta stir the pot a little.

Scary day yesterday. Hanging out with the family, everything seemed fine. Hour later mom calls and says my dad is confused, not making sense, can't finish sentences-Boom straight to the ER. Turns out he was having a small stroke. Seems to be doing pretty well today. He's pretty clear, no major deficits. Shewee.

Unlike me, dude is a picture of health. Skinny, eats an incredibly healthy diet, walks daily...only thing he really has going against him is being 70.

How was GEL last night?

Boat may be a cheesy braggart, but thankfully, he lacks the far more obnoxious traits that usually accompany such behavior. He's not a snob in the least bit, doesn't feel like he's better than anyone else. In fact, it's just the opposite. He's about as friendly, nice, big-hearted and inclusive of a guy as you'll find. I have some friends I occasionally have to apologize for, but Boat's not one of them. He's a really good dude. Always has been.
GTFO here with that.

-Your dad looks amazing for 70.

-Told y'all paypal was strict about that bracket stuff. They're not playing around.

-Speaking of Ursch. Dude brags about going to McD's and buying a SAUSAGE BISCUIT. Not a sausage, egg and cheese, not a sausage egg mcmuffin, not even just a sausage and cheese. Sausage + biscuit. Might be the worst order of all time. Being disappointed in someone else's order is tough to do. If I accidentally was given a sausage biscuit I would take the time to drive back and exchange it or I would just skip breakfast. What a disappointment.

Arguably the driest breakfast sambo of all time. Dude could use a few slices of cheese imo, is he riding in the Derby this year?

It's debatable, for sure. Classic Egg McMuffin for dad.

You can get a bacon mcmuffin, or you could in the past. The sausage is better, especially over that country ham.

Patachous is phenomenal. I was talking about fast food though.

So those idiots that fell off the Pope Lick train trestle were up there performing a "paranormal activity" investigation. Train comes, dude hangs from the tracks I guess while the chick falls to her death. What a couple of idiots. Props to him for hanging while a train goes by and then getting himself back up.

Pope Lick monster was chuckling the whole time.

And yes Xman, the road is called Pope Lick, funny, I know.

The fire trucks went flying past my house so I pulled it up on the scanner. They called in a ton of trucks and said it was a possible 1080 (corpse). I was tempted to pull a Nightcrawler and run down there and get the first shots.

-Rode 12 miles with my daughter yesterday on the Louisville loop at the Parklands. That will be so nice if Louisville doesn't screw it up.

How was GEL last night?

We were thinking about you, man. Glad to hear your dad is doing better.

We only had 6, so we played a few games of 3 on 3. We shot for teams after every game with the winners shooting first, just to keep mixing it up. If you were on my team, you lost. Every game. A full day (literally, since 8:00 AM) of golf and yard work apparently didn't do much for my already weak jumper.

Can't pick a muffin over those delicious greasy biscuits. I mean, if I'm going to eat McDonalds then Marcus.

And bacon is actually > sausage. But at these fast food joints you don't get enough bacon to make it worth it, so sausage is the play.

There's a reason the Egg McMuffin is #1 on the menu board.

Chicken (spicy) egg and cheese bagel is in the discussion too.

- When cooked thoroughly and correctly, bacon is the finer breakfast sandwich option, but that's a real dice roll at fast food restaurants.

- Coming off a sober weekend. Will make up for it in Atlanta next weekend, I'm sure.

If we are talking McDonald's breakfast, and we are just going by taste, gimme the sausage egg and cheese biscuit all air.

Got my Derby horse already, Destin.

Anyone played at one of those TopGolf facilities before http://topgolf.com/us/loudoun/

Looking to plan a client appreciation thing for a dozen advisors next month and it appears to be the perfect mix of prick measuring long distance driving contest, chipping accuracy and scramble games, lots of crafties and some old school billiards and arcade games.

Seems like Louisville would be a no-brainer to set up a franchise, but unfortunately this sleepy little river town isn't on the expansion draft docket and the closest one is Atlanta.

UNC on Monday confirmed receipt of the amended Notice of Allegations (NOA), which again details the results of the NCAA’s investigation into a scheme of suspect African Studies classes that benefited athletes in disproportionate numbers. The new NOA, like the first, wasn’t immediately released.

And so its contents, and how it compares to the original NOA that UNC received last May, remained unclear on Monday. The amended NOA will eventually be released publicly in modified form, after the university’s legal team redacts part of it.

Weekend randoms:

-- Had a bunch of people over this weekend. Few college buddies, lass' friends, including a hot lesbian couple. It'd been a while since I had been drunk, but thought it was probably necessary for the occasion. Ended up hammered downtown after all the ish at the house. Fortunately, I live less than a mile from downtown. #win

-- Pop a couple ibuprofen and a Vita Coco (that used to be Gyero approved magic, right?) and all was well. Surprised. I've still got it at 26.

-- Perfect weather for Keeneland on Sunday but it was kids day? I'll pass. Company is having a bunch of clients in this week - box on Thursday.

-- Anyone mountain bike? Old buddy is into it and it looks fun. He dropped a grand for an "entry level bike" this weekend. o_O

-- I've lurked in some capacity since 2009. Should have the cache for another post in 2022.

Vegas has a Top Golf going in behind MGM...and will be the biggest/baddest yet, in true Vegas fashion.

Those places just look unreal.

A closer one is coming soon to West Chester, north of Cinti.

Ive been to the one in Scottsdale and it is absolutely awesome, everyone will love it. Lots of companies have outings there, highly recommend it. My sister is a big wig at Fidelity, has never played golf in her life and went to the one in Dallas with her team and everyone raved about how much fun it is.

Cinci's opens in Junes up in the West Chester area.

Austin had one of those Top Golf, damn wish I could have fit it in.

Demo'd some irons yesterday morning before all the excitement. Hit the Taylor Made M2's, the Mizuno JPX 850, and Titleist AP1's. Really liked the Taylor Made M2's. Getting fitted next week, we'll see.

Had a nice little weekend.

Friday hit up Happy Hour and then ordered some Boombozz delivery with the lass. Watched a movie with her and was in bed by 10:30. That's kind of my ideal Friday night now.

Saturday we went to Keeneland. The Clubhouse was busy but not ridiculously crowded. Good seeing Doc Bob and his bae. Dude, you need to put a ring on her. Hot, cool, gets your cheesy persona.

Chad pointed it out last week but time flies by at that place. One minute you're getting settled in and next thing you know it's 5:30.

Ysydy... Church -> Yard-> Pickup Bball -> Joella's -> Couch.

Got some color on Saturday and Sunday. Needed it. Don't want to be Casper white on Derby weekend.

Been watching Bloodline. Can't binge watch it like House of Cards, Narcos or
Making a Murderer by find it interesting.

It's a bit of a slow-burn to start, setting the story & characters...but episodes 9/10-13 it really gets going.

Honestly won't be too broken up about it if UNC's fate isn't determined any time soon. This scandal will linger until any punishment is announced, and there's a decent chance they won't get popped too hard anyway.

In the meantime, the threat of NCAA punishment will continue to hang over the program like a big rancid cloud, and other schools will continue to use it against them in recruiting.

Their 2016 recruiting class has no 5 stars, and is ranked 5th in the ACC.

-I think you can get in a decent entry level mtn bike for $5-600. Never been but Louisville has some great trails and that year round trail in the underground cave thingy.

-Hydration and sleep are the two keys to hangovers. Always have been. Had a buddy talking about being out until 5am Saturday. Lol. I'd be ruined for 4-5 days minimum now and we used to do 5a both nights Every. Single. Weekend.

If your athletics program hemorrhages money, is there a good reason to keep it? I think this is a question you're going to see more and more schools asking.

How do any of the athletic departments in major conferences not make money? I understand a MAC school, but if you're in the SEC/P10/B12/B10/ACC, how is possible you're not profitable with all that TV $$$? Think I read only 24 athletic departments made a profit last year.
