I don't know that he has to play volleyball for a living...[laughing]. I think he'd do fairly well as a garbage man in China or Europe, and surely that's worth more than a professional volleyball player.

Sure he could. I'm just saying that top pro volleyball players make as much from earnings and endorsements overseas than garbage players in foreign leagues. He could go that route if(when) the NBA dream fails to be a reality.

Slow down, Chase. Lee may not have progressed like we wanted on the court, but he's an awesome kid from pretty much all accounts. Probably the nicest dude on the team each year he's been here.

I'm not sure anything I said was inaccurate, or harsh.

I dislike Lee. He's like Willie but without any redeeming basketball skills and he's way weirder and apparently crazy. We will benefit by not having his non basketball *** around.

Congrats for his off the court activities. He seems to excel at kids and volleyball. I think he would be a great teacher, tbh. Someone will pay him to play basketball and that is a shame,

If Humphries took 100% of lee's minutes last year, we would have been a better team, but still kind of ******. Sigh. Basketball sucks right now.

I've never understood why more nfl draft busts/rejects don't go play rugby. I mean, I've seen stories where some do it, but there's no reason why big strong fast black Americans shouldn't be dominating the world rugby scene.

Speaking of overseas, that Kami chick tweeted out this little short Doc from Vice on Marshall Henderson and his Iraq Basketball experience...good little 10 minute watch.
Damn, that was almost brutal to watch. The "****, this is a huge mistake" look from the minute he stepped in his "dorm" said it all.

I once dealt with a client that bought a 4MM apartment to move into while their 37MM apartment was being renovated. We ended up doing 400k in renovations to the kitchen of the relocation apartment as well.

Meanwhile, I am looking to cash in my Snappy Tomato Frequent Buffet eater card for a free pizza buffet experience next week. So I'm looking forward to that.

The thing with Marcus Lee that everyone seems to be forgetting is that he went to UK and got an honest to God University of Kentucky education. His ABSOLUTE WORST CASE END OF THE WORLD scenario if the NBA doesn't work out is that he sings at various open mic nights down in Nashville with the help of an attorney for some reason.

Try to pay attention, idiots.

I mean, I'm pretty sure that the attorney was wanting to bang her. That's the clear subtext there, right?

Follow up to my previous response:

How could UK NOT pick up how that commercial comes off? It makes a UK education look silly AND implies this chick is being banged by her manager? What I'm trying to say is...FIRE MITCH!

It's the most honest promotional ad for a university you'll ever see. "Well, I got a degree but then I found myself having to play music at dive bars and being supported by some skeevy old guy."

The most honest college advertising ever was one of those for profit nonsenses hyping up the YOU CAN GO TO SCHOOL AT HOME IN YOUR PAJAMAS crowd.

Most honest advertising in history, next to Hardee's/High Life targeting the "you're a fat disgusting slob" demographic.

Joey - did you happen to know Mark Bixler when you lived in NYC?

Calipari has to be livid...I mean livid...that Marcus Lee did that interview with Jeff Goodman. It probably was set up by his brother, but still Marcus has to be smarter than that. To talk to a reporter without going through UK and then suggest UK didnt let him show off his offensive skills, when they were DESPERATE for any big man to show any skills...well, if he isn't careful I worry Marcus gets Daniel Orton type treatment. A shame as I am sure he didnt mean it like it came out

I'm betting Cal shakes it off. He gets it. Liggins said something similar pre-draft.

Didn't really think about that, but you may be right. I'm sure he'll get over it, Marcus is a pretty innocent dude.

What's Pee going to say? I know my offensive game is terrible, but I know it'll improve as soon as someone gives me a check, and puts me against better defenders.

Pee is in full panic mode, as explained earlier. He's going to say whatever possible to try and get himself drafted, and I don't blame him a bit.
