2018 or bust (no pun intended lololol) it's looking like. Still not there though, and Anth is going to owe me $500 either way. :fire:

Kids are hard and we fell in the trap with kids sleeping in our bed, which became their bed as I moved to the kids room. Anyone judging the misery from that situation will be in for a rude awakening.

Cut your own grass! Having time for other things is great but it can replace some of your exercise if you push mow, and at some point the 2 hours of get away is worth it. I quit paying for mine right around the 2nd kid.

I waited until after NCAA but my cable is cut, and I have found myself a lot more productive. Once I realized that I was the only one watching TV it was just a matter of time really.

Still in a boot from surgery. I'm close to being out of it but had an infection mid way which slowed me down. Still say tearing my ACL in HS was worse than this.

After changing diet I dropped 14 pounds. I was also more active and not bedriidden or always in a chair at the same time and the combo really helped. I've added Fish or Chicken to 3 meals a week now and have felt great. But tonight I ate Pizza for dinner and feel sick! F Papa Johns.

Is there any doubt at all Bobby Hurley will take over for K when the time comes?

I came in to school running on about an hour and a half of sleep one day after our first child. One of the vets (softball coach) who had 3 grown children of his own just looked at me and said, "it doesn't get any better, coach. Once you have kids you'll never sleep again."

I thought he was just being a bag, but he's right in a way. I average about 6 hours of sleep a night now just out of habit. About 4 and a half during the season (film, nightmares, kids, adrenaline). I've always been a light sleeper, but kids can worry you to death.

Can't imagine the worry when they're teens and out on the road. My daughter is going to be a beauty. My son is fearless. Going to be a long 12-15 years to retirement.

Outside of a klan rally, there can't possibly be a whiter event in the country than the Rolex Three Day Event presented by Range Rover.

Is it any fun? Never been out there.

[roll]ive been about 80% sure that this Anth guy was trolling. Nobody does THAT much douchey stuff. But "sleep training". For f$ck sake. I'm now 100% sure

Other than only wearing graphic tshirts like 3 times 8 years ago everything else is fairly accurate. Like I said, I'm transparent and obviously fine with it or I wouldn't bring it up. Also, sleep trainer is the best $300 I've ever spent. I know you don't understand this but I participated in my child's life. I didn't roll over, slap my wife and make her go take care of the overnight wake calls.

I'd say there is plenty of doubt. He hasn't shown much yet and they seem like they don't care as much about 'keeping it in the family'. Probably because they don't have an ongoing cheating scheme to keep under wraps.

I'm leaning towards a couple hits of the marijuana for use as a sleep aid here pretty soon. I'll let everyone know how it goes (it'll be fantastic).

I have no trouble sleeping, but I can make chocolate chip cookies that, according to a few of my friends, help them sleep.

According to them, if they eat a cookie, about an hour and a half later, they're drowsy, and sleep like a log.

Smashing Pumpkins have still got it. So many great songs, but the show wasn't exactly what I expected. Billy didn't pick up an electric guitar until 2 hours into the show (they played like 2:30) but the acoustic songs were incredible. They covered David Bowie's Major Tom, which was outstanding. Said they have been picking an album to focus on, and I was super excited we got Siamese Dream, my personal favorite.

My only complaint was I wanted to hear more of the screaming guitars on some of their harder songs...but we got a little taste at the end. They busted out a pretty sick cover of ZZ Top's La Grange which got the local crowd up.

UT campus is pretty sick. The show was in their performing arts concert hall. Had pretty dope seats. Overall an excellent experience. Just wanted a bit more...

That was before I saw what the neighbor is getting past the ND1. First floor will be similar. Might open a few walls up, for sure a remodeled bathroom and the back porch becoming a room. The upstairs will add 2 rooms and 1 bath. So yeah, basically total reno is what I'm thinking right now. Probably 18 months out.

Reno's sound good in theory but the chaos of reno while you are living it in it is the worst. May look to live in a hotel while its being done.

Rob sent me a picture of a gobbler he claims bagged over the weekend...and he's wearing a Yeti Tshirt. Sounds about right.

His professional guide he paid wasn't pictured. Lol at the Prospect Yuppie "hunter." Probably shot it off #12 tee box from his Hunting Creek Deck.

This John Petty kid sounds like another Jeff Sheppard type- out-of-state kid who's been in love with Kentucky since he was a little kid. I know he struggled a bit last weekend, but at the very least he's a 6'7" wing and Top 20ish player. Sign him up.

He's like a black 6'7 Jeff Sheppard with an afro and a bigger mouth.

Mentioned him last week during my Small Forward/Wing rant -- love everything about him, and many believe he'll be the 1st commit.

Best part about the NFL Draft is Caliendo's skits.

-Stacey Reed was gross.

Sounds like Lee is gone, or will be doing everything he can to not have to come back. He's been pretty marginal & improved at a pretty minimal pace, but he'd be a great guy to have back for a number of reasons.

Damn. Can't see him even getting drafted in the 2nd round -- not even sure he's a better prospect than Alex at this point, really. He's not elite at anything other than jumping, which isn't really hard to find.

-Sucks about Pearl Washington. One of my favorite players of the 80's.

-I know I'm preaching(lolz) to the choir here, but I have zero idea why anyone gets too emotionally invested in Kentucky baseball or UK HOOPS. Both are nothing but teases.

-Mowing=steps, so I'm fine with doing that. Weedeating is nothing but frustration and horrible luck with equipment. Neighbor kid FTW.

-Step it up, NBA playoffs. Ridiculous. Looks like some of these teams flat gave up after going down 1-0.

-So many great options in the 2017 class. Can't wait to see Cal's priority list shake out after this eval weekend.

Lee is by all accounts a great kid, but he is delusional if he thinks he's making an NBA roster next year. He's not even remotely good enough to play in the NBA. I thought he understood that with his "couldn't really give a **** less" attitude on the court this year.

By his quotes, I feel like he's the guy who didn't take class seriously at all, just cruised through without studying or going very often, and now he's freaking the hell out and trying to cram right before the final.

It's too late bud, at least for this year. Stick around another year and actually focus on getting better and maybe you'll get a shot.

Lee probably has as good of a chance, if not better, of making it as a pro volleyball player than he does as a pro basketball player. He played in high school and received scholarship offers. His height and athleticism, and his potential marketability as a former UK basketball player, could provide him the opportunity to make some pretty good money overseas. And in volleyball, there are no personal fouls, so he could actually stay on the court.

I don't know that he has to play volleyball for a living...[laughing]. I think he'd do fairly well as a garbage man in China or Europe, and surely that's worth more than a professional volleyball player.

Slow down, Chase. Lee may not have progressed like we wanted on the court, but he's an awesome kid from pretty much all accounts. Probably the nicest dude on the team each year he's been here.

Speaking of overseas, that Kami chick tweeted out this little short Doc from Vice on Marshall Henderson and his Iraq Basketball experience...good little 10 minute watch.
