Yeah, I am super bummed, but I have learned from my mistakes about assuming too many things. I was 100 percent sure we would win it all in 2015 before the season even started. That summer I thought it was pointless even playing the season out as we could sleepwalk to the title. Didn't turn out that way. Duke will be loaded, but there have been a lot of similarly loaded teams that didn't win it all. Injuries, chemistry issues, running into the wrong team in the tourney, etc.

It's gonna be hard reading all the posts about how awesome they are on this board next season, but just have to ignore them for the most part I guess.

They will certainly be the favorites. Anything can happen but it's not good odds to bet against Coach K and a team that will have 9 or 10 5 stars.

They will be loaded - youth, experience, shooting, rebounding, size, defense....UK 2015 (maybe better) type of team.

He had a roster with 9 burger boys and all of the attributes you just described in 2015. Lost 5 games, won the championship. Still wasn't as good as UK '15.

Parents win out a lot of times with recruits. There is a reason why the home visits are so important and why coaches spend just as much time recruiting the parents too. They have been guiding and advising them their entire lives and have a lot of influence over kids. So, of course parents are going to be included in the decision and are going to persuade their child to the school they think is best for him/her.

Sure as hell doesn't mean they took money though. That's ridiculous. It's just the way it is in the world. I'm sure it has worked in our favor a lot of times. Perhaps it just didn't this time. Who knows.

I just don't like to see people bashed for bringing forth information they hear. I don't want them to get discouraged about bringing it up cause I'll take all the info that I can get.
