He just said live: kentucky got the payback later, "i guess" (pause/emphasis), but that watford shot was just amazing.

Yeah "I guess" we did haha
I hate to do the "could have" post BUT UK had a foul to give on that last play and didn't use it. Miscommunication and Cal admitted it. The only shining moment for IU fans in nearly 15 years would have been erased. Pitiful.

I come over here hoping for friendly talk before the game tomorrow....sorry i wont go ahead and just claim Uk will blow everyone out on their way to the title. I just dont think that will happen either way.

Michigan State - loses to a 15 seed by 10 points
Michigan - should be in the NIT will lose to an average Notre Dame team
Iowa - beat a below average 10 seed by 2 points
Maryland - beat a 12 seed by 5 points
Wisconsin will lose to a below average Pitt team
IndBreds - you know what awaits you [laughing]

Yeah that's a solid group you got there :flush:

Big ten is a joke and gets 6 teams in the tourney and the Sec gets two in? Yeah..thats seems logical...lol

The Big Ten and the SEC are not comparable in basketball. You could compare the SEC with Conference USA on the other hand. SEC is a football power conference but never has been in basketball.

Everyone lose games...I havent said a word bout the Watford shot...was it a lucky shot...sure. Sometimes a bounce goes your way ...sometimes it doesnt...its part of the game. Just like the KY-Tn game where the guy got the putback off the freethrow to win the game.

The final play, teague fouled at mid court and it wasnt called. So you're saying we had two fouls to give?
Not saying that at all. Cal even asked "why didn't you foul". It wasn't an obvious or aggressive foul and it went down as a freshman mistake to many, not all though. I guess it's just a matter of opinion

When is the last time a Big 10 team won a National Championship? SEC has had far more players drafted over last 10 years. SEC has won 6 national championships to Big 10s 1 over last 25 years. Better teams. Better players. I would give numbers on drafted players but am to lazy to look it up again. Did that 2 years ago and was amazed by the numbers. Not close.

This year is a perfect example of the quality the SEC usually has year in and year out. There is only two or three decent teams in the conference and Kentucky is always one of them. On the other hand, the Big Ten usually have around six decent teams year in and year out.

Yes, I recall cal saying that. It could of been the moving screen/shoulder block that stopped teague from making the reach in foul more egregious.

I would think that Kentucky had a high majority of those players drafted in the NBA from the SEC. A conference has more than one team. JS

If Kentucky would have been the #2 Seed today in place of Mich State we would had it posted in capital letters that MTSU upsets #2 Seed Kentucky. They would interrupt regular schedule programming to announce Kentucky getting upset #15 Seed MTSU!

I think so many people are obsessed with the fact that we no longer play them, that they honestly think the Watford game was the last time we played. And Hoosier fans have convinced themselves the later game didn't happen.

Yeah, I'm amazed by this as well. It's like they Men in Blacked their brains to forget that we ended their season and won the national title.

For them, nothing else happened after mid-December in 2011.
