Guy is clueless and shouldn't even be hosting a sports segment. I was watching and he also said on air right before that UK and iu haven't played since 2011 at assembly hall when iu won. He's from Wisconsin/big ten fan

I don't remember seeing this guy before? I first saw him a couple of days ago. He said then that he thought that Crean was a better coach than Cal was. It is just his opinion. Albeit a bad one!
Just consider the source. He is a IU homer.

I was watching and was about to post the same thing.. What's ironic about it is right before he said that he was talking about Willis asking if Bob Knight was the guy that threw the chair and how they didn't know anything about the IU/UK history.. The guys an idiot

He's back on air now. My buddy tweeted him earlier to inform him about his mistake that IU/UK played last in 2011 at assembly hall. He deleted the tweet. Haha, but they actually got it right this segment as far as the last meeting being in 2012 during the tournament.

He just said live: kentucky got the payback later, "i guess" (pause/emphasis), but that watford shot was just amazing.

So if the Cats were a 2 seed like most fans thought they should have been ,had lost to 15 seed Middle Tennessee...would you call Cal overrated?

It's not just the fans in louisville that are filled with hate, a lot of the press is too, Lexington steals their thunder. That 399 square miles they live in has the largest UK Alumni Association in the state, I'm sure that has to hurt.

I was referring to Izzo..and some fans saying hes overated. To me Izzo is a top 5 coach and I doubt most sensible.fans would deny that.

Crean has under acheived if anything. Most IU fans would be calling for his head if he lost yesterday...despite winning the Big Ten regular season title outright.

I think so many people are obsessed with the fact that we no longer play them, that they honestly think the Watford game was the last time we played. And Hoosier fans have convinced themselves the later game didn't happen.

Big ten is a joke and gets 6 teams in the tourney and the Sec gets two in? Yeah..thats seems logical...lol

I don't agree with anyone who says that Tom Izzo is overrated. But at the same time the argument isn't a bit more nuanced than what you are suggesting. Izzo has a perception of being a wizard in March, but he only has one title in the past 16 years, and his more recent results have been 1 Final Four in the past 6 years.

Personally, I think Izzo is no doubt a top-10 coach. And I will be nervous if/when I see his teams in our bracket in the future. But if people are arguing that he is slipping and his results are dropping off.... then there is sufficient data out there to support that position.

Name 9 coaches better than Izzo..my top 5 are Coach K....Roy Williams..Bill Self..Cal and Izzo
