Officials are helping UCLA certainly. But we are playing bad enough they don't have to help UCLA.

We just dont have any perimeter shooters and alot of other things. Hopefully we will come back.
That makes zero sense. The refs have been terrible and mostly in ucla favor.
Meant refs asre bad but in a fairly called game we'd also be losing because we can't hit a jumpshot and our frontcourt is weak, especially with no Lee.

We've simply been getting outplayed, outhustled and outworked in this game (especially inside), it has nothing to do with the officials supposedly being out to get us.

I think they're responsible for maybe 4-6 points of the lead. A lot of "convenient" calls are going UCLA's way. But UK is playing like ****. So there's that too.

One team has game planned very well for this game and one team hasn't.
UCLA has wanted this more from the start.
That said, I am not crazy about UCLA guards being allowed to push off all night. Especially Alford.

How do you game plan against a packed in zone when we can't hit a shot, how do you game plan against losing one big man to injury and another to complete failuire to show up to the game?
This team's success was always based on an injury free season. All ready we have had two. Coaching does nothing there.
Nah this game has been physical and UcLA get away with a lot of stuff they should be cracking down on. They are not the reason we are losing but they are like playing against a 6th player
would love to hear your explaination on this one! I am as true blue as they come but I'm also realistic in my evaluation of how our team plays.
All of the points of emphasis and rule changes about hand checking and impeding offensive play meant absolutely jack tonight. I think we see even worse in SEC road contests.
For the better part of the game all we did was continue to attack on offense by driving into a packed defense. Very little kickouts for spot up 3's. We didn't really start shooting a lot from the perimeter until the last 4 minutes of the game.
Defensively we played the same straight up man to man the entire game. Another cal trademark regardless if it works or not. A team that lost to Monmouth just put up 87 points and shot over 50 % from the field and they weren't hitting tough shots either.
This game required in game adjustments instead of trying the sane thing over and over with different players on the court. We didn't get adjustments just substitutions.
