Your Thoughts on the New Board Format?

CSS is a simple fix...
while there may be bigger issues that are user experience problems it is ludicrous that this color ever appeared on any of your customers screens... while I understand you have captive users here, it says a lot about your concern for your product that you allowed a Kentucky site be anything but blue for more than 2 minutes...
I can't believe that you had no opportunity to see this before it went live. If you didn't then you should expect more from the provider. If you did and the color was no big deal to you.... well then....

My work PC shows a purple board without a doubt. My Toshiba LT almost has the color correct. Just information.
I think it's refreshing . . . going to take some time to get used to. Anybody found any neat features that might not be so apparent (i.e. posting a link and title it something so it doesn't show as the web address)?
I agree about the color, but I am getting used to the new format after 1 day of posting on it. We just got remodeled. Move on.
It's much better functionally and feature wise. Specially on mobile.
The color pallet needs some attention. The color is purple to me as well. Everyone sees color differently and everyone computer monitor and/or phone displays color differently as well so to those who set the colors it may be UK blue to them. It definitely needs addressed though. Also, there needs to be some contrast to help break it up just a bit more. Everything is the same color, threads, avatars, menus and headers. Also the Read/Unread differentiation. Once everyone or most have avatars that show next to the posts I think that will help a lot. All of the generic circles all run together. If anyone saw the Chrome extension that was posted, that helps a ton and I think should help influence changes to the default appearance.

Most will say they don't like it just because it's different and not what they are used to. In a few months everyone will be used to it and if they went back to the old, you'd see how archaic it was.

On a computer I like the old way a little better but will like this one just fine when I get used to it and they change it from purple to blue. On my phone I like this format WAY better.

I liked the old emoticons a lot better. I liked the old color scheme better. I don't like the white-on-white layout, it feels like I'm experiencing snow blindness.

At least now my eyes won't be assaulted whenever I view PEEGs and those morons can no longer use the 'view by response' option.
