#25 Boise State gets the final CFP bid.

Check out their next 3 games. From the linked story:

25. Boise State

Boise State survived a close contest which saw them win a 46-45 shootout against Pac-12 foe Texas State at home, avoiding a critical slip up with a late score. They sit firmly in the hunt for the final automatic bid, given to the highest-ranked team from the Group of 5 or Pac-12.

Spencer Danielson and the Broncos look to continue their run through the Pac-12 with a road game against Colorado State. That game is currently scheduled to get underway at 6 pm ET on Saturday.

Upcoming schedule: at Colorado State, Oregon State, SDSU

whoopee, what a gauntlet

Narrative ? Lmao…..obviously ESPN is overhyping, overranking the SEC because ESPN funds the sec to the tune of 811 million dollars a year, promoting and covering it at the same time.
It's just such a stupid argument that you posted. Oh look! The conference that has the most teams has the most losses! Shocking!!

Dumb azzes pick up on crap logic like this and assume it makes a point or that it's even accurate, because "Hey it's on the internet! It must be true!"

Without even looking I can tell you that Oregon and Iowa alone have 3 losses to unranked teams. The graphic shows 1 total for the Big10.

SEC BS Bias once again and having Kentucky that high? Good Lord

Kentucky sure didn't get penalized for getting blown out at home. IOWA did, of course.

Georgia did not get penalized for a bad HOME LOSS to Auburn (now 4-4).

And look at who #7 Texas has lost to.

Good Lord, indeed. The bias is undeniable.

#5 Alabama's losses:
20-17 to Georgia AT HOME
26-10 to Tennessee

#6 Kentucky's loss:
45-17 to Alabama AT HOME

#7 Texas' losses:
27-24 to Oklahoma (now 4-4)
27-24 to Florida AT HOME (now 5-3)

#2 Georgia's loss:
27-24 to Auburn AT HOME (now 4-4)

So
Texas at Missouri....both 2 loss teams
Alabama at LSU....both 2 loss teams
Kentucky at Tennessee.....TN with 2 losses
Georgia at Ol Miss.....Ol Miss with 2 losses
Oregon at OSU.....OSU with 2 losses

Given that the SEC bias is so bad, I guess (for example) I would rather see Bama beat LSU as I could see the bias having Bama still in in front of Iowa even with 3 losses and Iowa running the table. At least we jump LSU in this case. Kentucky/Tenn one of them will have their 3rd loss and a Kentucky win we will jump LSU. If TN blows out Kentucky then we can jump a 3 loss Kentucky. Hope Georgia kills Ol Miss. Texas/Missouri is one of those that if Texas wins, Missouri is out. If Missouri wins they jump us and Texas MAY fall behind us. I think one of the most interesting situations is Oregon at OSU. Without Sayin, it is a different OSU team and I feel they will get another loss somewhere. That being said for our SOS and not having Oregon pass us, I would rather see Oregon lose this game.

LOTS of moving parts. I do believe the SEC bias is real and they are packing more of them in up front as they know they are going to lose some to the upcoming schedules with them playing each other.

Just win baby! 10-2 and I believe we are in. Take care of the Wildcats first!

Revsine and Butt said Iowa can make it for sure if win out and need maybe some style points.

Just think Iowa at Notre Dame with Phil's defense. Yes, please.

We can cry all we want but here’s the deal. It was a bad look when Ohio state lost to Texas, when Oregon lost to Oklahoma State, When Mississippi State crushed Minnesota. Did the big ten have any marquee non conference wins?

I predict if Iowa gets in our defense knocks them in the nutz.

The real question in all of this is how high will Alabama, Texas, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, et. al. rise in the rankings after their next loss.

After all, as we know, any loss to an SEC team is the equivalent of a win against any team from any other conference.
