They're leaning way too much into resumes this year, but we kinda knew that going in with all the talk about "has the B10 passed the SEC?"................

This is why our conference commissioner needs to be fired for his part in negotiating to pass the 24 team playoff with ESPN as the sole provider for the tournament.

The guy is being played and he doesn't care as long as we get "fake money" that doesn't actually do anything to change results on the field.

But but but the TV MONEY!!!!

Tell me in detail what the f***ing TV money is gonna do to help Purdue compete with SEC teams.

#25 Boise State gets the final CFP bid.

Check out their next 3 games. From the linked story:

25. Boise State

Boise State survived a close contest which saw them win a 46-45 shootout against Pac-12 foe Texas State at home, avoiding a critical slip up with a late score. They sit firmly in the hunt for the final automatic bid, given to the highest-ranked team from the Group of 5 or Pac-12.

Spencer Danielson and the Broncos look to continue their run through the Pac-12 with a road game against Colorado State. That game is currently scheduled to get underway at 6 pm ET on Saturday.

Upcoming schedule: at Colorado State, Oregon State, SDSU

#25 Boise State knocks out Ohio State for the 12th and final CFP bid.

12. Ohio State

Ohio State is coming off an upset loss against USC which came without star quarterback Julian Sayin as he recovers from injury, unable to play in the 30-18 result. Even off a bad result, they remain in the CFP picture and will get an opportunity to respond and stay in the projected field.

Head coach Ryan Day will lead the Buckeyes back into action against the Big Ten schedule next weekend as they host Oregon in a home matchup. The game is currently scheduled for 3:30 pm ET on Saturday.

Upcoming schedule: Oregon, Northwestern, at Nebraska, Michigan

With 4 games to go, this list is fairly meaningless. We (anybody with a brain) already knew that the SEC is much more highly perceived this year and that 2 loss SEC teams will get in before 2 loss Big10 teams. Iowa still needs to win out and see at least 7 teams in front of them pick up a loss which is likely. Nobody is jumping them from below if they keep winning.

Tell us a season when the SEC hasn't been highly perceived by all of the ESPN talking heads.
ESPN is an SEC network, but it's much more pronounced this year given the abysmal performance of Big10 marquee programs and underwhelming non-conference performance overall.

ESPN IS AND SEC network, but it’s much pronounced this year given the BIG has won three national titles in a row.

Huh. Don't you also need to look at wins over ranked teams or does that mess with your narrative? Or how about you show the SEC's record against these conferences this year? Isn't that relevant to this discussion? 🤔

You know what else matters? How many teams from each conference are ranked.

Narrative ? Lmao…..obviously ESPN is overhyping, overranking the SEC because ESPN funds the sec to the tune of 811 million dollars a year, promoting and covering it at the same time.
