You do realize that the ACA was practically crippled when Trump eliminated funding and the required mandates?
The Trump administration has vigorously sought to undo the Affordable Care Act through both administrative and judicial means.

absolutely, but it was also crippled then they did away with the Cadillac tax and the medical devices tax..the original promise was not one dime from the budget. That promise was broken by Obama well before trump...
But realistically the ACA was broken from the start...were going to add 41 million to the rolls, increase the mandatory coverage (pregnancy coverage for men) maintain the same base of doctors/hospitals and expect costs to come down....increasing demand with no increase in supply...and increasing the items in the demand..how aften has that worked economically.
There was an effort to repeal and replace, I don't think any Democrat voted for it...
IMO, the answer is not to just throw more money at the problem, and the answer is not to throw people off Medicaid...there is a middle ground. But as long as democrats refer to Republicans as facists/racists, as republicans refer to Democrats with similar slurs, it's pretty difficult to get the two parties to the table to negotiate and fix what's broken.
The goal to fix healthcare so that all Americans are covered, sounds great, but some simply don't feel the necessity, others have different financial priorities, and some just don't care. But that doesn't mean we don't have to try to come to some middle ground...
By the way, lots of talk on here about authoritarianism...dictating that everyone has medical coverage sure seems to fall in that direction...
