With all the talk of the ineptness of our backup QB's, I'd like to hear some of y'all's opinions on who y'all think is the worst QB to ever start a game for MSU. There are plenty of candidates, and I know Michael Henig will be a favorite, but guys like Kyle York, Tray Rutland, Josh Riddell, Chris Parson, and from the way back machine Mike Davis all garner consideration. What says the Sixpackers?

I was just looking at that. I don’t know if Phil Thomas started any but his were pretty bad. Lots of nonQBs below him. Dude at the very bottom only has 5 attempts but 1 completion of -6 yards and 1 interception. That’s pretty rough

We had our backup WR Darrin Clark playing QB in '94 with Taite out.
Yep. He was also one of the first three two sport players(baseball) along with Harold Myles and J.O Doss

It's Tim Parenton. He was not the worst QB to ever step on the field, by far. Pretty good baseball player for Polkie too in the early 80's.
Mike Pizinski? Something like that...
Tony is still in the top 10 in all time passing yards and he only started for 2 years.

Mike Davis would get my vote from that group.........I played against him in HS and couldn't believe a SEC team signed him.......Those were just some ****** teams we had under Rocky......Program was in shambles...........
Interesting. I saw Rodney Hudson is the lowest ranked QB in school history. This was the year we moved Omarr to receiver and Henig got hurt in week 1 vs South Carolina. After Rutland's performance we moved Omarr back to QB until Henig got healthy again

Money Mike had like a 30% completion rate that game!
Matt Wyatt’s 1997 season was absolutely terrible. 6 TD’s and 15 INT’s. He threw 4 of them in the Memphis game. He redeemed himself in 99, but that 97 season was atrocious.
Not going to bash henig for playing for croom.
I remember Henig throwing 5 or 6 interceptions in a single HALF of football versus LSU.
If Lee was six foot one we beat LSU. And not giving it to Boobie on the goal line. I still have nightmares.
