Well if you combine ESPN, ON3, and 247 then you get one ranking for each that is a 5 star. Calipari has convinced the younger generation that you can only win with 5 star recruits. Last I checked we haven’t been to a final four since 2015.5 stars on what site? How many posts are you going to make about the same thing? I don't see 3 5 stars on rivals or 247
If cal started our decline pope put the dirt over usWell if you combine ESPN, ON3, and 247 then you get one ranking for each that is a 5 star. Calipari has convinced the younger generation that you can only win with 5 star recruits. Last I checked we haven’t been to a final four since 2015.
Oh, Cal definitely started our decline. While Pope's record has not been stellar by any standard, the all-time wins gap between UK and Kansas declined more under Cal. So I guess you could say Pope has not thrown dirt on us, he's just not digging us out of the hole Cal dug us into.If cal started our decline pope put the dirt over us
Why not take you take your sorry behind to the LSU board instead of gracing us with your odious presence3 5stars landed, which is 3 more than Pope has ever landed in his career
As much as Cal’s waning years screwed us, we were still respectable. We’ve basically received Tom Crean at Indiana levels of derision under Pope. The media, opposing fans, and Pope’s fellow coaches. There is zero respect.Oh, Cal definitely started our decline. While Pope's record has not been stellar by any standard, the all-time wins gap between UK and Kansas declined more under Cal. Can't say that I disagree, but I'm waiting to see if how this season plays out before I start feeling like UK is the new IU. But my point still stands. Cal coasted in his "waning years" and that's what made a coaching change inevitable. We were just victims of a possible not so great hire by the former AD.As much as Cal’s waning years screwed us, we were still respectable. We’ve basically received Tom Crean at Indiana levels of derision under Pope. The media, opposing fans, and Pope’s fellow coaches. There is zero respect.
And a OSU football fan and Cal nut hugger.Nope, im a uk fan thats tired of people like you accepting mediocrity
Then laid a foot of concrete over it.If cal started our decline pope put the dirt over us
This was supoosed to be Terry Pravis and Noah's team this year.He just needs time to develop the players he has recruited! Just wait until guys like Chandler and Jasper Johnson get a few years under his system. You won't ever wish for one and dones ever again!
I see a new account there, so were you tired of the last 5 years of Cal?Nope, im a uk fan thats tired of people like you accepting mediocrity
On3 sucks ***. The change has all but killed this board. This board has really degraded since the change over.
How so? I'm a new poster, so I wasn't around back then. This board has really degraded since the change over.
Lots of board "OGs" didn't make the migration over here. Also, the anon accounts weren't a thing on the old board. How so? I'm a new poster, so I wasn't around back then.

After what Stein just did, I think Pope is all but done here.I think this will be Pope's last year. We will likely have a season similar to all of his seasons as a head coach where we'll have some good wins in between multiple losses with several seeing us get down 15-20+ early in the game and simply not be able to come back. Then a flame out in the second round and that'll be it.
J Batt doesn't strike me as a guy that's going to rearrange furniture on the Titanic. I think he'll get a new boat and probably the best boat available and I think we'll be off to the races in very short order. In some ways I feel like Pope is in an unwinnable situation right now. I think Batt as patiently awaiting his demise and anything short of the Final Four is probably a nail in the coffin for Pope, and given today's college sports landscape, it probably should be.
Yes, that nine and sixteen was respectable as hell and damn damn near beat Oakland and Saint Pete, but just let it slip away, rightAs much as Cal’s waning years screwed us, we were still respectable. We’ve basically received Tom Crean at Indiana levels of derision under Pope. The media, opposing fans, and Pope’s fellow coaches. There is zero respect.
It really has an the pay board is literally just as badThis board has really degraded since the change over.
