That sounds pathetic...but last year Iowa had no receivers ranked in the top 50 of the Big 10. The year before, Gill clocked in at 48th and was Iowa's leading receiver.

Tyrone Tracy has more receptions in the NFL this year than he got at Iowa. There's something wrong with Iowa's offense and Lester is not able to fix it.

My favorite thing every year before the season starts is multiple threads will talk about how much better the WR room is going to be and mention all of our receivers who have played 3 years and have 3-4 catches total. We never figure it out. It can't be explained.

Yup, it's become a rite of passage to hype up our WRs in Spring Ball and then to be disappointed in the Fall. How can Iowa be so good at producing TEs, but so horrible at WRs??! I really think we should go with a 2 or 3 TE set or maybe just adopt the Academy Option Offense!

I think you can add QB's to that annual discussion. Lots of talk about how much better the QB room was vs prior years. The receivers look better when you have someone who can throw them the ball.

We have @Franisdaman's quote about how Lester can really open up the offense because we finally have 2 Qb's that can really get the job done. Oh well.
