Regardless, they're using the intimidation factor to keep people from going out and voting. "Even if the candidate I vote for wins, it won't matter, so why vote."

Dan S Sullivan is labeled as the Incumbent Republican on the ballot and the other is just listed as Dan J Sullivan. If they can't figure that out, lord help us.

Besides, the federal govt. should not be involved in a decision already ruled on by the state Supreme Court but I just heard a clip of Trump saying he told them to do it anyway.

But how can they look at a ballot with no voter information and determine who they intended to vote for?

Thats when it gets sinister.

It's all going to plan:

Claim that the other side "cheats like hell"

Delay certification and manufacture a false pretense to contest unfavorable results (You are here)

Next?

Seize ballots and voting machines?
Refuse to seat the Dem winners?
they are totally gonna try. But trust them! They are draining the swamp.

Notice the piece of sh.it MAGA on here aren't touching this thread, because it would mean they'd either have to acknowledge that our government is using Hitler's blueprint or they agree with it

Roy Cohn (1927–1986), the New York lawyer who mentored Donald Trump for over a decade, built his reputation on a set of aggressive, confrontational tactics distilled into three core rules: 1) Attack, attack, attack. 2) Admit nothing, deny everything. 3) Always claim victory, never admit defeat.
Beyond those rules, his playbook expanded to include:
TacticDescription
Counter-sue immediatelyWhen sued or accused, file a counter-lawsuit (often for defamation) to shift pressure onto the accuser.
Weaponize the legal systemUse lawsuits not to win but to intimidate, harass, and exhaust opponents; delay proceedings to run out the clock.
Manipulate the mediaPlant stories, cultivate gossip columnists, and create controversy; perception trumped reality.
Accuse the accuserProject your own alleged crimes onto your enemies.
Avoid a paper trailConduct business over the phone, keep no records, change bank accounts to evade the IRS.
Rat out others to save yourselfIf cornered, implicate others.
Stoke fearExploit public prejudices (communism, crime, "the other") to build a loyal base and justify authoritarian solutions.
Demand absolute loyaltyBuild a network of mutual obligation and fear; punish disloyalty swiftly.

Cohn honed these methods as chief counsel to Joseph McCarthy during the Red Scare and the Lavender Scare, then in private practice representing mob bosses, the Catholic Church, and Donald Trump. His approach was summarized by David Cay Johnston: "get off the issue; attack law enforcement; attack the government; attack the press; and create phony issues so you can totally change the debate." Cohn was disbarred in 1986 and died of AIDS complications that same year.

To be fair, it is likely that there will be some voter confusion given the similarity in names. But there is, as noted previously in this thread and in news stories on this subject, no legal precedent for setting aside an election on the basis of possible voter confusion. We won't even know the extent to which voter confusion played a part, even after the votes are all tabulated. How would you even begin to determine that, given that voters are under no obligation to disclose how they voted?

If Democrats ran this guy in order to create confusion, more power to them. Republicans have already done their best to put their finger on the scale in New Hampshire voting. They enacted legislation prohibiting the use of student ID's for purposes of proving eligibility to obtain a ballot. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that New Hampshire has the highest percentage of student voters (vs. all voters) in the nation, and that student voters vote Democrat by a wide margin. I think it does.

Dan J and the Dems claim they had nothing to do with it and he insists he's a legitimate candidate running as Unafilliated, but who knows.

Here's an image of the ballot where you can easily see that Dan S is the incumbent, so this shouldn't be hard. The DOJ said if Peltola wins but doesn't receive 50% of the vote, that will trigger the investigation, but again, how can they tell from the ballots what the voter intended?

And of course the Pubs in NH are trying to make it harder for students to vote. Have we ever known of any Republicans to make it easier?

Disingenuous post dpic. The commie dems found some random lib loser with the same name as the republican and bankrolled him to get on the ballot with the aim to dilute the republican vote due to mistake.

Not proven and you know nothing.

The Accusations: President Donald Trump and local Republicans have publicly accused Democrats of using Daniel J. Sullivan as a "plant" or "sideshow" intended to intentionally confuse voters and draw support away from the incumbent senator. Daniel J. Sullivan has denied these claims, stating he is running independently and of his own accord to "put Alaska first"

Daniel J. Sullivan Jr.: A retired elementary school teacher from Petersburg, Alaska. While he is a registered Republican in state records, Alaska election officials have listed him on the ballot without a party designation, often referred to in reports as an undeclared candidate.

Claims that DOJ is trying to stop Alaska’s election are FALSE.

Alaska’s Division of Elections determined that Dan J. Sullivan’s candidacy was intended to mislead voters and meddle in the election for his favor.

Therefore, we are seeking to protect election integrity, consistent with the National Voter Registration Act (enacted by Congress) and ensure the will of Alaska voters is respected.

“Omg it’s just a coincidence that they had the same name!!”

- dpic, undoubtedly (posted before reading past your comment, I’m highly confident he responded with something along these lines though)

You also read past this comment:

"Dan J and the Dems claim they had nothing to do with it and he insists he's a legitimate candidate running as Unafilliated, but who knows."

I also included an image of the actual ballot where the Republican Incumbent is clearly marked and separated from the other Sullivan, so if they can't figure that out, they have no business voting.
