Didnt they give nova a close game too?Glad its an exhibition.
Double OTDidnt they give nova a close game too?
And it’s just the coach? And some wonder why a group of us pull our hair out about the shroud of secrecy with our program.
We probably have as many threads and posts about the RU v SJU exhibition compared as our apparent “secret scrimmage” with BC over the weekend. And now a YouTube clip of the entire game.
Only here…..

I think its a combo of all 3I see these possibilities:
1. Rutgers is better this year. Maybe but I am somewhat skeptical.
2. Rutgers is not really better, and Villanova and St Johns are way overrated...at least at this point
3. It was only a scrimmage, and the end results were meaningless. No conclusions can be drawn.
You may be right, but I am betting on number 3.I think its a combo of all 3
"On paper" MEANS without seeing them play. If you'd like, we can go through the accomplishments and merits of each player and you will see this is actually pretty obvious. The only "fantasy" was you thinking Mbaye was the second coming. Not seeing how you can say that on paper they are better. You have NOT seen SHU play two exhibition games and yet you have this idea that you can compare position by position. Pure fantasy on your part. Not even remotely valid idea.
You did say that you've seen rutgers play more than once and have never seen SHU play, but you'd "be surprised" if we're better. Then you moved to the "on paper" comparison."On paper" MEANS without seeing them play. Yea. Because all of their players seem to be as good as I’d have expected them to be on paper. So which of the positional comparisons do you disagree with at this point? You did say that you've seen rutgers play more than once and have never seen SHU play, but you'd "be surprised" if we're better. We all read your laughable posts about him. But I’ll let sleeping dogs lie. Water under the damRegarding Mbaye I only wanted to see him get more chances to play. That is all I wanted. Never ever saw him as the second coming. You made that up. I will always root for the underdog players on the roster to succeed and do well. If that happens it is a very good thing.
