So, beat Florida and either UT or Missouri in their place. I'll take it, but it won't be easy.View attachment 1491922Take care of business at home and split the road games is all we have left to do.
I don’t think getting in at 9-3 is impossible. It’ll just depend.
4-5 are going to be wars. Lucky we get UofL and Florida at home. I wouldn’t want to have to go to UT and the Swamp. That UT game really scares me the most, can’t overlook Mizzou. I don’t think UofL has the defense to beat us but they do have a dynamic RB and QB so that could pose problems. Plus it’s a rival game and we all know that could be wonky.True but I'll still not underestimate the task in anyway.
Yup, we can only drop one at most to have a chance. If we make the SEC championship they will factor in that game as well which won’t be easy. We have a lot of work left to even think about that though.I never thought it possible but after this past weekend a 9 and 3 sec may make it. Sadly, I doubt that team is us. It will be a brand name team. We need to go 10 and 2.
I can't even think about it yet. Give me a couple more games. I still have 2007 burned into my memory. Started 6-1 that season I think before the wheels came off.View attachment 1491922Take care of business at home and split the road games is all we have left to do.
If we win our home game and split the remaining road games... that makes us 10-2. We should be in with our resume. No way if we drop more than 1 and get in unless we swap helmets with Alabama.I don’t think getting in at 9-3 is impossible. It’ll just depend.
I disagree about the last part. Part of being a fan is the thrill of dreaming big. Obviously the SEC is Jeckyl and Hyde this year and you never know if youre going to get someones best game or worst any any given Saturday. There's a path where we have a losing record in our remaining games. But there's also a path to the playoffs in there as well. This coach and team has me dreaming dreams I've never dared. Dreams that have been delayed for the 49 yrs I've been on this Earth. I refuse to delay them any further and will enjoy every second of this ride.Yup, we can only drop one at most to have a chance. 3 of those wins came from cupcakes and another by a mid UL team. I believe our record today is more legitimate.I can't even think about it yet. Give me a couple more games. I still have 2007 burned into my memory. Started 6-1 that season I think before the wheels came off
A 9-3 Kentucky is not getting in. Im not sure a10-2 UK gets in either. We need to run the table to guarantee playoff spot.I don’t think getting in at 9-3 is impossible. It’ll just depend.
Last year’s Alabama team got in with three losses. But that’s only because one of those was in the SEC Championship game. They only lost two regular season games. And then the decision to invite Bama faced criticism after they totally looked like they didn’t belong in their 38-3 playoff loss to IU.I don’t think getting in at 9-3 is impossible. It’ll just depend.

Yeah, our situation is actually very simple. And it’s not dependent on what anyone else does.10-2 UK gets in all day with our strength of schedule.

so, no, I just can’t see any way 9-3 would do it for us.
Zero chance at 9-3. Especially not being ranked to begin the season. The "big name" teams bias will get the spots.I don’t think getting in at 9-3 is impossible. It’ll just depend.

I hope so, but feel like our only defense this season has been create turnovers, meaning we can't just straight up stop decent offenses. There is a lot of luck in that strategy that could run out. I kind of expect that to happen at UT but we will see.3 of those wins came from cupcakes and another by a mid UL team. I believe our record today is more legitimate.
I did a simulator on ESPN a few days ago. If we only lose 1 more regular season game and then lose in the SEC game (total of 3 losses in that scenario), I think we still had over 90% odds to make the playoffs. Obviously can't lose 2 more regular season games.Zero chance at 9-3. Especially not being ranked to begin the season. The "big name" teams bias will get the spots.
