Our bend-dont-break defense feels a lot like Brad White’s best, maybe with a better nose for the ball. The b-d-b is a pretty good strategy against most teams, but it always seemed ineffective against elite offenses. Hopefully we will fare better under Stein and Bateman.
yes opportunistic is the best way to describe our D. They put themselves in the right position to make plays and we've been able to cause turnovers when we needed it most. Its very similar and even Lane said so pregame. The main difference is we now have an offense that can move the ball and doesn't make the D feel like they have to do everything. Massive difference.
That said, we really are extremely opportunistic and are doing an incredible job at capitalizing on every opportunity the opposition gives us. I can only think of one missed opportunity and it was godfrey dropping an int in the bama game and that would've changed at least the margin given that timing.
Our open-field tackling has been fantastic this season.Who is stacking up tackles in the SEC?

Yeah I had overlooked that for some reason. Well that makes is more important for us to win the next two games. Tennessee is a problem for us but they’re going to have to beat us because we don’t quit or beat ourselves. Craziness.Well one of them is definitely losing one more as they play each other on November 7 at ole Miss. definitely georgias toughest game remaining while ole miss still has tough games at Texas and Norman.
