Our bend-dont-break defense feels a lot like Brad White’s best, maybe with a better nose for the ball. The b-d-b is a pretty good strategy against most teams, but it always seemed ineffective against elite offenses. Hopefully we will fare better under Stein and Bateman.

Its very similar and even Lane said so pregame. The main difference is we now have an offense that can move the ball and doesn't make the D feel like they have to do everything. Massive difference.

That said, we really are extremely opportunistic and are doing an incredible job at capitalizing on every opportunity the opposition gives us. I can only think of one missed opportunity and it was godfrey dropping an int in the bama game and that would've changed at least the margin given that timing.

yes opportunistic is the best way to describe our D. They put themselves in the right position to make plays and we've been able to cause turnovers when we needed it most.

Yeah, Georgia and Ole Miss play Nov. 7. One of them Has to lose.

So if Uk and UT get to that magical game with onl;y one loss ...

The winner of GA - Ole Miss and UK - UT games ... will be the favorite to get to the SEC title game.

It still could be that one or neither even get there, but most probably, those two winners will make it. The question is at that point, can both losers of those games still make the CFP?

It'll happen if they both win out, for sure. Even a third loss still puts them in position to make it. That's how I see it shaking out, ultimately.

We shall see.

Well one of them is definitely losing one more as they play each other on November 7 at ole Miss. definitely georgias toughest game remaining while ole miss still has tough games at Texas and Norman.
Yeah I had overlooked that for some reason. Well that makes is more important for us to win the next two games. Tennessee is a problem for us but they’re going to have to beat us because we don’t quit or beat ourselves. Craziness.
