Lots of catty, dirty play in Game 1, not to mention all the heat the officiating is receiving from fans who wouldn't be considered CC fans, both for missed and bad calls, and for letting the game get so physical (and even dangerous).
It's almost as if CC had a point about the refs..............

It was 23 to 18 in fouls. So not really that much of a discrepancy. GSV also turned it over 5 more times.

Just get this weird feeling that the Valkyries will just keel over and die for the remainder of the series. I refuse to watch a single second of these finals, but judging from comments made on social media, they sounded pretty bad today. The W would love nothing more than for Angel to win a ring so they could advertise her as the new "queen" of the league.
The Fever desperately need to be revamped from players to coaches if they want to have a chance. Don't see that happening though.

Dream were the way more aggressive and better team tonight. Fouls don't have to be even. And why would the W prefer Atlanta to win over Golden State? Golden State is a model franchise. And selling out every game.
Valkyries have way way overachieved this year with that team. And I certainly don't expect them to roll over and die with their coaching staff. Atlanta is better at every position. Gabby Williams is the only player that would start on Atlanta and unfortunately had a really bad game last night. These are also by far the 2 best defensive teams in the league so it's going to be ugly basketball. Atlanta should win as they are by far the more talented team but still hoping Golden State can somehow pull this off.
