They are. The Big10 appears to have 3 very clear tiers this year. Position within the tier is a ranking.Hmm... Purdue looks inconsistent along with every team in the Big Ten.
Nope. If you don’t block a dude then that happens. Two plays in a row.I think Washington wins, honestly should be destroying Purdue
thank you for putting that in perspective for me. Some of us have low football IQs.Washington rushed for 188 yards tonight. They rushed for -3 vs Iowa. On the flipside Iowa ran for 263 vs Washington. Purdue has 102 tonight. Iowa scored 41 without the help of any turnovers. Purdue scored 26 with the assistance of 5 turnovers.
I'm thinking luck wasn't a factor.![]()
Replace Neb and Wisky with USC and OregonThey are. The Big10 appears to have 3 very clear tiers this year. Position within the tier is a ranking.
Tier 1 - OSU, IND
Tier 2 - Iowa, UCLA, NW, Nebbie, Wisconsin
Tier 3 - Everyone else is either not good or a box of chocolates where you never know what you're gonna get.
I probably should have put USC in that second tier, but their defense is really bad and IMO they are going to lose their next 3 games, 4 of their last 5. With respect to Oregon, they're super talented, and should be a contender, but have already lost 3 games because of stupid play like turning it over 7 times in one game. Even if they win out, which they won't, there is no way in hell they reach the CFP. They're the most disappointing team in the country, and are more likely headed to a second division finish below the teams I mentioned ahead of them. They're in the box of chocolates category. They could easily beat Nebraska today, or turn it over 5 times and lose.Replace Neb and Wisky with USC and Oregon
Neb doesn’t get tier 2 status for beating 3 hapless noncon opponents and two of the worst teams in the B1G.
Wisky and Neb can earn their way onto tier 2 status by winning today.
USC and Oregon have too much talent to leave off this list. They are both given better odds to win the Natty than any other team listed in tier 2.
Oregon has 2 losses and is solidly in the CFP if they win out.I probably should have put USC in that second tier, but their defense is really bad and IMO they are going to lose their next 3 games, 4 of their last 5. Edit: With respect to Nebraska, I agree that their record is partially a function of their bad competition. They were also solid against a very good Indiana team, but that was just one game. Jury is still out.
Getting 5 turnovers at home and losing by double digits. Wow.Washington rushed for 188 yards tonight. They rushed for -3 vs Iowa. On the flipside Iowa ran for 263 vs Washington. Purdue has 102 tonight. Iowa scored 41 without the help of any turnovers. Purdue scored 26 with the assistance of 5 turnovers.

I think UCLA and Oregon win this week. Wiscy lucked out at PSU and Oregon has been missing their QB. Nubby could win if Raiola starts today, baby Mahommes sucks.Replace Neb and Wisky with USC and Oregon

You're right. It just feels like 3 which will knock them out of consideration when it inevitably occurs.Oregon has 2 losses and is solidly in the CFP if they win out.
I think UCLA struggles with Wisconsin today and Nebraska/Oregon is a tossup as well assuming both of the home favorites in these games feature backup QB's.I think UCLA and Oregon win this week. Getting 5 turnovers at home and losing by double digits. Wow.
Honestly, Indiana deserves respect and a place in the 1st tier until they lose, but my gut is telling me they are in the 2nd tier with OSU all by themselves in tier 1. We will find out how good indiana is today. They are. The Big10 appears to have 3 very clear tiers this year. Position within the tier is a ranking.

We will. They're not as dominant as they were last year, but what Indiana has again is great efficiency. They lead the country in yards per play on offense and are 16th in yards per play allowed with a differential of 3.1. Same with Ohio State who's even better in that regard with a differential of 3.2.Honestly, Indiana deserves respect and a place in the 1st tier until they lose, but my gut is telling me they are in the 2nd tier with OSU all by themselves in tier 1.
