Yep. You could certainly compare MAIS to the level Taylorsville Jason who played at Auburn. Or Jefferson at North Panola who started two plus years at Arkansas. Their competition was pretty light. Of course both were physical freaks compared to Parker Puckett( did he play Spider-Man?)

I don’t think I ever bitched about him being on the roster? I was a bit surprised he allegedly got $1 million (I also wasn’t the one who put that number out there) but never questioned the need for a #2 QB given that we had no clue at the time what KT would be capable of.

I was having this discussion with someone earlier. What MAIS quarterbacks have started a game for any SEC team? Stewart Patridge was the only one I could recall going back 30 years or so. We could think of a number of backups but don’t recall them starting a game….especially against another SEC team. Surely I’m overlooking a couple. Any help?

Robbie Mink is from Greenwood, don't remember if he went to Pillow or GHS (probably GHS).

OU back played at Mercer other SEC backups are true freshman or lower level transfers.

Any of those would be absolutely fine, provided that the freshmen were actual legit SEC athletes with an offer sheet indicative of that.

I’ll ask you again to name another P4 team that had a freshmen walk-on as it’s legit #2 QB entering the season. I’m waiting.

lol. I mean what are you doing to help the program. Nothing. Some of us are trying to move the program forward. And it’s unfortunate that we had an injury but to act like we didn’t try and get a backup quarterback is very very uninformed. To say that’s an indictment of this staff is again misinformation .
