This video will really help fans realize how much Will Stein and UK are being respected right now from an X's and O's perspective. We really dominated this game- with our Tight Ends on offense. This film shows how LSU could not handle the mismatches. Great video for someone to get into the hands of Seneca Driver

Wow an actual film breakdown with pros and cons for both teams and he actually called out things against his own team. He has a future doing this. Most fans can’t make videos like this. Nice post.

Unless Seneca Driver just wants to get away from family and friends and wants something different, and I know that does happen sometimes, I don't see any way he can't be impressed with what Kentucky and Stein have already accomplished and will continue to do, and want to be part of that experience. Besides, if Oklahoma keeps being mediocre, there is a chance the Coach won't be around after the season. He won't have that worry at UK.

Obviously, Saturdays game could be very important. Especially so if our TE have another huge contribution.

Interesting break down. One thing I saw though on this video - there were 3 or 4 times Minchey missed seeing wide open reservers who broke wide open late. Like when he scrambled out of pocket to his left and took a 3 yard sack loss instead of throwing it out of bounds, reciever was wide open in end zone. But it was a wonderful video to show how we have counters for anything they threw at us. Stein doing amazing job.

I agree he missed a few, but this stuff happens SO fast and at this point Minchey makes calculated throws early and rarely late. But man if he does start seeing those more often- look out.

His decision making has been great 11-1 TD/INT as you said this happens so fast. He’s learning against some of the best defenses in the entire NCAA as well. He will eventually see that. Plus Darby is a freshman and he can come back. We have some major talent coming in. I think next year he could be scary good. Like top of the SEC good.

I can tell you for a fact that he is not wanting to get away from his family. They are a very close family.
If OU offered him $3M & we only offer $2M, I'd put my family first. To me, recruiting "harder" means the most $$$ mostly.
More like 1.3 but I have no idea about Kentuckys offer .

I don't think that's enough. Choosing UK, especially if for some reason the pros don't work out, can provide a lifetime of legendary status, state and local endorsement opportunities, networking, high-paying bs jobs just because you played at UK. You would throw that away for $1mill more from Oklahoma?

You dont think if he balled out at Oklahoma a few years he'd be legendary there ?? Football is the undisputed king in Oklahoma.

18 year old kids aren’t thinking ahead like that. It’s make as much as you can now. I don’t blame them. Get it while someone is willing to give it to you.

I don't know his family's financial situation, but if poor, I'd take the extra now & invest it for the family's future. So yes.

Be that as it may, there's no substitute for the staying-power (fame-wise) of starring at your home state school in terms of future endeavors, in that same state, beyond your playing days. If Seneca is good at OU, not legendary, but good, and has a cup of coffee in the NFL, very few in the state of Oklahoma would take care of him after his playing days like they would in KY if he has the same type of career. Not sure why this is hard to understand. Say again, $1million now would be a bad financial decision.

Lets say he gets hurt at OU in like his second year. Career never works out there. Anyone going to take care of him down the road in that state? I doubt it. But simply signing on the dotted line for UK, even if he never plays a snap, is signing a contract for a lifetime of opportunities in this state if he plays his cards right. It demonstrates a loyalty and a love for home. People respect that. They love it.

I remember my dad predicting Tim Couch would go to UK because he sensed that he would feel that need to represent his state, his people, by attending it's flagship school.

I said the same thing of Travis Perry's decision to transfer. The kid was the all-time leading scorer in the state. Committing to UK, regardless of his success, was a ticket to financial success in this state (assuming he takes advantage) forever.
