We either have really bad luck at a coin toss or just rollover and let other side decide. Neither would suprise me.Have we ever ONCE done a home and home in which we get the first home game? I guess at least it's not the LT days where you could just about set your clock to our home game getting bought out or moved.
If the current schedule 5 home 4 away conference schedule holds to the same rotation this evens it out. 2030 we will have 5 P4 home games and 5 P4 road games (Ok state away, 4 SEC away). Its why we canceled the Texas Tech series because the schedules in 2028 and 2029 would have had 8 home games one year and 6 the next. That series had Tech coming to us first.Have we ever ONCE done a home and home in which we get the first home game? Does it matter? I assume we like to keep the trend of a P4 non conference home game every other year instead of possibly going two full seasons without a P4 non conference opponent. As it stands now, we get a P4 non conference opponent at home every odd year. State fans will literally b!tch about anything.Have we ever ONCE done a home and home in which we get the first home game? I’m gonna be on the lookout for Maroon Ragweed shirts now…I was living in Tulsa, late 90s when we played in stillwater. The thing to do was to go have a hotdog and be sure to wear your Eskimo Joe's.

We schedule these to get 7 homes games per year. If we reversed the home and home, we'd have 8 home games in 2030 and 6 in 2031.Have we ever ONCE done a home and home in which we get the first home game? It doesn't hugely matter, but I do find it a little odd. Sounds like you may not.Does it matter? I find it odd too, and it is not just a recent thing. The only series with a P5 team that we have played at home first was Texas in 1991-1992 and West Virginia in 2006-2007. So that is twice in 40 years. Hell, we played at Baylor in the mid 90's and never got a return game.It doesn't hugely matter, but I do find it a little odd. Sounds like you may not.
We were scheduled to play Baylor first, but postponed that when the SEC added an 8th conference game.I find it odd too, and it is not just a recent thing. Highly unlikely.Okie State buying us out of the Starkville game in 3,2,1….
