Imagine Trump being like Zelensky, and cancelling elections because we are at war. I don’t think the Dems would be talking about that being the right thing to do as a Democracy.
You gave two very vague successes of this war. This war that continues with no end in sight. It’s been a major negative, and a huge waste of $$.

I wanted to Thank Donald J Trump for sending Rachel through Arizona and California. There were literally waterfalls coming from my roof this AM. Sadly, I had to dismantle my rain capture system at risk of being called elite or some such.
Even more sadly, 275+ people around Phoenix did not live to see it, because they died from heat this year.
Phoenix saves lives. Obviously, you are completely unaware that the cold kills many more people than heat does.
Hopefully when the windmills powering Colorado go kaput in winter people are able to flee to Arizona in order to survive.
And thanks to Phoenix, an incalculable number of elderly people don’t die from slipping on ice and breaking hips, etc.

Zelensky did not cancel the elections. The Constitution of Ukraine doesn't allow elections to be held during martial law. That was declared by Zelensky and approved by the Ukrainian Parliament.
I don't know why all of this is so hard. Russia could stop fighting tomorrow and Ukraine would also certainly agree to a ceasefire at the current lines (which basically haven't moved so it's not like Russia is advancing). Russia won't do it.

Iran's positioning in the war is bad. Maybe 3-4 months ago Iran had gummed the US up, but basically the Strait is open for Western oil and Iran's economy is in the absolute tank. Things are bad for Iran.

Anytime I see a fool correct that the US is a Republic and not a Democracy I immediately understand that they are goofs that believe they know more than they do and they take their clues from RW crap sites, and never studied politics or government. The US as every other democracy is a Democratic Republic. A democracy as we elect our leaders and government, and a republic as those elected leaders vote on the specific laws or bills. A true democracy has every citizen vote directly for every bill or law. That maybe existed in ancient Greece but not since then it is not possible where there are more than a few hundred people.
