Agreed. Becht played a good overall game with zero run game and minus his best receiver and a sub par offensive line. And a terrible defense.
I thought we had four all world TEs?
Stop making excuses for Howard being out. This is the third game already without him. It’s called planning and prep of which we seem to have zero right now
F***ing embarrassing

This whole last quarter Becht has melted under the pressure. Not sure this team will win any B1G games. The wasting of timeouts this game is a glaring fault. Honestly, even less impressed with Campbell's game management than Franklin's.

Everybody was counting on Purdue as a W........... don't look now, but they're handling Minny pretty easily. I don't see a sure W on our schedule. All the new and different ways this team finds to lose games (especially that awful redzone offense coupled with a really bad defense), I don't see any sure wins on our schedule and we'll be fortunate to win a couple b1g games and may well go 0-fer.

Again all week it was "we're going to be blown out" We lose a competitive game and those same people are acting shocked we lost

You have no idea where Kentucky ends this year. They could lose out
We are not worse than last year
I'd have hired Stein over MC but that's not MC's fault
Last time I brought up KY you said they hadn’t played anyone and now they beat LSU and you say we don’t know where they’ll end up. They’re a far better team than they were last year and they’re light years ahead of where we are. That’s why you fire a coach and hire a new coach, not the crap we’re seeing at Penn State.

Honestly...it wasn't a bad game. It was competitive. Something to build on.

Out-played obviously. But more worrisome, very much out-coached.
Yep. Kept going with a 3 man rush on third and long which gave the USC QB all day to pick out a receiver to play catch with. Blew several time outs because of late substitution on offense which gave USC time to substitute while the play clock ran out. Blowing your final time out when USC had 4th and 4 from inside its own 20 is easily among the stupidest things I have seen. I think Riley still has a smirk on his face about that.
