Given our fiscal situation and Greg's contract and the success he has had here I support Greg coming back for 1 more year with a bowl game or bust stipulation.

I don’t want a team just good enough to save Greg’s job.

Let’s cut ties now and target real success.

Sounds expensive. Not sure where the money is going to come from. 7-5 and bowl should be our goal every year.

I don't think you or many on here are realistic to Rutgers football. Your dont seem like someone who truly grasps our financial situation, revenue and what it takes to win in college football.

No they don’t.

2026 Iowa’s roster is being paid 23.6 M
2026 RU’s roster is being paid 21.3

Extra 2.3M buys a solid defense!!!!!!!!

it’s the $$$$$$. It’s always the money.

Schiano is a great coach, we don’t have the Jimmies and Joes.

Zinn couldn’t get it done! I guess that she had a Sophie’s Choice, so she gave the money to B-Ball.
I see what you did there. You took the high range of the data point for estimated roster cost for Iowa and the low for Rutgers.
But 2 can play at that game. Same google search. One for Iowa and one for Rutgers.

Iowa estimated roster cost nil 2026

For the 2026 college football season, Iowa’s estimated total roster cost ranges from $17 million to $23.6 million, depending on the tracking model and how revenue sharing is factored in.

Rutgers estimated roster cost nil 2026
Rutgers’ total estimated 2026 Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) athletic and football roster costs range from $20 million to $30.8 million depending on the index source

Wow so we outspent Iowa by $13m+ and can’t beat UMass or BC.

It’s like you suffer from from some crazy syndrome, you know, like a derangement syndrome!

That’s it! Eureka!!
Its Schiano Derangement Syndrome. SDS
Lmao. Schiano is a losing coach. He just doesn’t win consistently. He’s under 30% in B1G games. Take away his ~15 FCS wins and his overall winning % is way worse.

You have “Schiano is the almighty derangement syndrome”

We should have BCs money or UMass as clearly they have more money than us as they both beat us

Yet the extra $20 mil Rutgers spent their roster couldnt buy anything but a 💩 performance vs UMass. You make zero sense but keep on trolling.

I don’t know what’s worse. Al having what many perceive to be multiple aliases. Or being a real poster being labeled one of his aliases.

Superfan02 might be Al. Bergen goes way back on this board and previous in his discontent for the AD and love for GS.

Yea I’m not the one saying it. I’m laughing at it. More than anything.
As insufferable as delusionAL is now as RU sucks, I wonder how much worse he’d be if we were a perennial 8-10 win program! I’m guessing entire other forums would probably have guidelines to block his a$$

Yea we can all find outliers. But the one that Al posted as gospel in another thread. Then discounted it later because it didn’t fit his narrative any longer. Had Iowa at 17-21mm. So take all of these with a grain of salt.

The Iowa Hawkeyes rank No. 55 out of 68 Power Four teams in football Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) spending, with an estimated roster budget of $17 million to $21 million (as reported in The Athletic's college football NIL spending analysis).

And usually when you post these things you would give the source. Not just random numbers.
