I'm not saying he has not made stupid decisions, but I still feel bad for him. I feel like Jerry has lied to everybody who wears the big star from TEXAS. I don't have one. And I won't have one. I still like Dak, though.I feel about 240 million dollars for him.
Analytics is ruining football. These coaches make decision strictly on percentages. The game isn’t played in a computer. It’s played by humans. Analytics have a place; but you have to use common sense too.Coaches make decisions each week that make me shake my head and wish I had never coached, because I don't want to get confused and be one of them.
Hard to feel bad for a guy with a huge mansion, awesome cars, and top self that which remains undefeated, while I live in 1000 square feet and drive a mom car that is almost 10 years old.Don't feel sorry for Dak.
He has a 9-figure bank account. (Before the decimal point)
And he is QB1 of his favorite team that he rooted for since he was a kid
I took my son to the game tonight…. Yeesh. The two INTs that the receivers created were unreal, but I’ve never seen worse coaching in my life from both sides. I told my son this was best case scenario when TB went for it on 4th…. Then we march 99+ yards only to go full retard and go for a meaningless 2.Even my wife says he has been stuck on a ****** team for a long time.
I must have missed the part where he was held hostage to take $338MM to hold one of the most coveted jobs in sports.Even my wife says he has been stuck on a ****** team for a long time.
There isn’t a coach on that field tonight. WheewwwwCoaches make decisions each week that make me shake my head and wish I had never coached, because I don't want to get confused and be one of them.
I expect something like that. The Rams need to trade for him at the end of this season when Matthew Stafford retires
Same here. Growing up the Cowboys were my team and Tom Landry was my coach. I hated the Steelers and Redskins with a passion.I swore off the Cowboys when Jerry bought the team and unceremoniously booted Tom Landry.

Problem with analytics in kick extra point vs for two or kick the fg vs go for the TD is they can flip depending on what the other team does in its next possession. They should only be used in end game situations.Analytics is ruining football. These coaches make decision strictly on percentages. The game isn’t played in a computer. It’s played by humans. Except Dak is a much better qb & the even these dysfunctional Cowboys are a much better team. It's a little similar to Archie Manning and the Saints back in the day.
Yeah we've got a lot in this fanbase who just might not be ready to accept this fact, or that perhaps he's getting closer to cooked than anyone hopes. I mean, he's lost arm strength, he's throwing a lot of ducks, and he's making some pretty bad decisions.Dak was terrible last night.
I wont compare Archie and Dak but the Cowboys have had a much superior team to Archie's Saints for Dak's entire tenure. He's the QB of a team that scored 16 points in an NFL game last night...that's not good. It's a little similar to Archie Manning and the Saints back in the day.

That being said, how the hell can you not build a consistently good team there? Jerry is a micromanaging idiot.
For starters, their aging, middle-of-the pack QB is eating up 15% of their salary cap.I swore off the Cowboys when Jerry bought the team and unceremoniously booted Tom Landry.

Back in the day, Archie stayed on his butt most of the time because of a non-protective offensive line. Dak has some of that issue too, but not nearly as bad.I wont compare Archie and Dak but the Cowboys have had a much superior team to Archie's Saints for Dak's entire tenure. He's the QB of a team that scored 16 points in an NFL game last night...that's not good.
Why can't we be ok with saying that and still love Dak? It happens. It's the best league in the world and much is asked of Dak BUT much has been given.Dak was terrible last night.
I love the guy and he'll never say it but the reason the ball was wobbly last night is because he has a hand injury. Not major but enough to create wobble and inaccuracy. He does not throw the ball normally like he did last night. His greatest strength sometimes hurts him because unless it's a major injury he's playing and the way they've been built over the years going back to Romo is they put it all on the offense. Not fair but it is what it is.Yeah we've got a lot in this fanbase who just might not be ready to accept this fact, or that perhaps he's getting closer to cooked than anyone hopes. One play he was rolling right and had Flournoy wide open and underthrew him by 10 yards and almost got intercepted. Two of the dropped balls by WRs were fluttering ducks that contributed to the drop.
He's looking more and more like he has to wind up and use his whole body on this throws. It's almost like he's got something going on with his arm - an injury or something.
He looked like an old quarterback last night.
