Then they just would have lost 24-23 instead of 24-20. 0-12 on 3rd down=a gassed defense. Needed the TD to be up 3 scores. A functional offense at the goal line would help.
Mirrors PSU against WISKY.

well if giving Hurts 2 days to pass is a sack then...I had to leave to take the kids to the fall festival with the Wife. I’m not watching. Who gave up the sacks on that series? Both sacks to Byron Young. Please tell me it was 51…
before they blow up the roster, they will fire Nick. No way Howie and GL are wrong. Is the Hurts experiment over in Philly? He’s nowhere near a $50 million QB. They will have to blow up this roster after this season.
Nick has demonstrated time and again that he can’t dictate a functional offense without a real star OC. And that’s with outrageous talent.before they blow up the roster, they will fire Nick. No way Howie and GL are wrong.
Agreed. PSU lost a close game to Wisconsin that it should have won, same as Eagles today. And Eagles got blown out in Chicago, just like PSU Friday night.I find that the Eagles often mirror Penn State. It's weird.
Probably. Howie is much better at his job than Nick so….before they blow up the roster, they will fire Nick. No way Howie and GL are wrong.
That’s only because Howie tells you he’s great at his jobProbably. Howie is much better at his job than Nick so….
Hah, for the longest time I felt the same about the Buffalo Bills!I find that the Eagles often mirror Penn State. It's weird.
Howie has a much better track record than Nick. There’s a reason Nick isn’t highly regarded in NFL coaching circles. That’s only because Howie tells you he’s great at his job
Howie just gets rusted parts w a great reputation and says see! You have everything you need!
Howie has a much better track record than Nick? Really? how soon we forget the Jalen Reager (sp) and Andre Dillard's of the world or maybe even Eli Stowers. There are plenty of hits and plenty of holes if he was JL son he would have been fired by now.Howie has a much better track record than Nick. There’s a reason Nick isn’t highly regarded in NFL coaching circles.
He’s a good culture setter and man manager, but he leaves a lot to be desired tactically.
He's literally one of, if not the best GMs in the league. He essentially built the most formidable OL in a decade. And then brought in Barkley to run behind them. He routinely works magic with draft capital, somehow ending up with better/more draft picks then he started with. He has fleeced numerous other GMs in trades. He drafted Carson Wentz, who essentially got the Eagles the #1 seed in 2017. When Wentz went into the tank, he traded him and turned it into Jalen Carter, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and Cooper DeJean. Speaking of 2017, almost all of his FA moves ended up being gold and a huge reason they won the SB.Howie has a much better track record than Nick? And here are other sources that all tell you he's great at his job. In fact they rank him #1 GMThat’s only because Howie tells you he’s great at his job

knowing you wont be fired has to help. draft capital is great, but not the end game. We've had some injuries so where at the 2026 draftees to help? I think there are a ton of guys out there who could do the job, but they worry about making mistakes and being fired, Howie doesnt have to worry about that. And here are other sources that all tell you he's great at his job. got an A here https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-all-32-nfl-coaches-nflpa-report-cards/Bottom line.
Howie is widely rated by independent sources as the best GM in the NFL.
Cursory review of coach ratings indicate that Nick is middling. (If you can find sources rating him in top 5, please post)
Conclusion. Howie is much better at his job than Nick.
