*****Ohio St vs Iowa Game Thread*****

At this point i would put Michigan in playoffs before iowa

[Sett1997]

39 yards rushing

so weak up front

They had success early when they did, the game plan was not to run. Imo
Stupid.

Moulton and 22 look good still

Don’t think so. This is probably Kirk’s last shot at the playoffs. He’s gotta give Heck consideration. At minimum, Brown’s on a short leash.

He might be on a short leash, but this is not Kirk’s last year. They built this team for next year.

Phil Parker is a genius.

Keep hearing that. Is he?

[Denmar]

This isn't even remotely close to being all on Hank. We are failing badly on multiple fronts.

Hank missed a lot of throws today but the O-line was terrible, secondary was as bad, and the d-line can’t get in the backfield.

Agree. Kirk stays however long he wants.

Watching the USC game and both OT's were nowhere near the line of scrimmage...didn't we get called for that today?

^^^^
100%.
Not sure how much difference it would have made, but that possession where Iowa had a 2nd and 2 at the 35 yd line and tried two pass plays was...what's the word I'm looking for...questionable!

We watched a team today, that will play for the natty this year. The sky is not falling.

I missed some of the game. Is the secondary as bad as it seemed?

Hard to tell playing against the NFL #1 draft pick at WR and a 1st round QB pick.

You are 100% correct! You have been watching awhile! Brown looked like a deer in the headlights start to exit.

What did yah think of the 3 running backs?

They combined for 45 yards.

Walter Payton, Jim Brown and Barry Sanders couldn't have done much better behind how the OLine looked today.

[Rambler Hawk]

Wasn’t the line 14.5 ?

Yes

[Amahawk]

There’s going to be a major conversation about Brown and Heck this coming week. Brown missed so many throws today.

Why can't Iowa get a QB? Other teams seem to have little difficulty. Is it a systemic issue?

Coaching. QB’s seem to have the same faults year after year.
