There's a page in the Wayback machine, where you can read the EZBoard posts back in 2003. A lot of great members back then... Going through the old names you don't see anymore was interesting.
Born in the mid to late 1900s always sounds worse to me.My current iteration has been here since 2017. I was heee prior to that but lost my login info and had to sign up again. I don't even remember what my original name was on here. But as my daughter reminds me...I am over half a century old now. Can't just say over 50. Oh no. Has to use the phrase half a century.
Sixpack - Best for quick communication, up to date news, and getting in pointless arguments without fear of getting banned.Since I have joined I have wondered why any of the other boards still exist.
Thanks I guess. Was not looking for all that information just making a simple statement. But again, thank you I suppose.Sixpack - Best for quick communication, up to date news, and getting in pointless arguments without fear of getting banned.
Genespage - Sunshine pumpers only
ED - if you want a look back into the old days of the internet where long-form posts full of stupidity aren't AI slop, there's an actual idiot writing it.
1878 - If you want official school confirmation on breaking news you hear elsewhere first.
The thing I see missing in the market that SixPack is ahead on is getting the youths into the boards. Discord is a massive millennial and zoomer hub. Having that as a spot for six packers to comment in the game is great. If you want to grow traffic, that's where you'll get the younger generation. Doesn't seem to be a desire though.
I wanted a locker room feel and that is what SPS was. Congrats.
If I recall correctly, the join dates were jacked up from the board transitions from EZ, to Yuku, to whatever came next, etc...Is our Joined date carried over from whenever we first joined or is that one of the cutover dates? I show November 1, 2007. I never got banned from Genespage but my speech patterns and thoughts weren't sympatico and I didn't want to have to feel like I was at my grandmothers house and had to watch my language when talking about something. I wanted a locker room feel and that is what SPS was. Congrats.

I thought I was in pretty early on SPS so thanks for this info. How did you lookup this EZ thing? If I recall correctly, the join dates were jacked up from the board transitions from EZ, to Yuku, to whatever came next, etc...
I found mine on EZ;

You're on a message board, you're gonna get some random dudes GeniusThanks I guess. Was not looking for all that information just making a simple statement. But again, thank you I suppose.

I think it's based on your first post that is still showing on the board...prior to us moving to On3. I stress the phrase I think. Is our Joined date carried over from whenever we first joined or is that one of the cutover dates? I show November 1, 2007. I never got banned from Genespage but my speech patterns and thoughts weren't sympatico and I didn't want to have to feel like I was at my grandmothers house and had to watch my language when talking about something. Well, it certainly has now….
He is less Brian Hadad today than he was 20 years ago, in more than one way.***FYI - heydog is @Brian Hadad. Heydog -> HD6 -> Brian Hadad.
the trademark was me being sarcastic about the genius comment.Again, thanks. But could you not use my post for your random thoughts? And genius? Hardly, but it is cute you believe that.
They misspelled Maron. Also the tents aren't blue.
Holy shittt I laughed.

I think at one point you used the feminine spelling of Frances instead of the masculine spelling of Francis.I've been some version of drebin since I joined a few weeks after the launch. I just lost a lot of my post history somewhere along the way among the conversionsku.
What happened to HD1 through HD5?The weight limit has been exceeded in this thread**
They were eaten! What happened to HD1 through HD5?
Yep. DawgnewsI remember the old listserve back in the 90s. The Richard Williams Haters Club. Anyone on here remember that?
That is correct. I thought it was funny. And mainly because Frank Drebin was taken.I think at one point you used the feminine spelling of Frances instead of the masculine spelling of Francis.
I got you a pass for the Heisman House. I put you on the list but only under your old username (IYKYK).I have been around since at least '05... could have been before that, I just can't remember. A friend told me about this place after I was complaining about something on genespage. I have absolutely no recollection of what my first username was, but I remember some of the responses to my virgin post 'welcoming' me. They were scathing and damn funny, so I stuck around. Then I got to know some of you pricks in person and realized you were being serious**
I did have another username or two in the late-aughts and since, but had to change once for personal reasons (IYKYK) then again when the board changed. My 'member since 2022' feels like an insult. I believe I have posted enough in my career to earn it, but now I am left counting on the Old Timers Committee if I ever want to be inducted into the Heisman House.
Just for that I'll buy everyone's lunch at Brent's on Friday**I got you a pass for the Heisman House. I put you on the list but only under your old username (IYKYK).
