But hired a real coach voila. They are undefeated and competing with IU on their own field.
they looked good tonight and they have much better players than usTheir young coach would coach circles around Schiano.
Which I'm assuming the Raiders are mostly paying not NW.They hired a 6mm OC and we have Captn Kirk. Coaching matters but money buys coaches.
Couldn’t we do that with Brian Kelly? How much does LSU owe him?Which I'm assuming the Raiders are mostly paying not NW.
Like I've said don't assume you can't get solid coaches largely on someone else's dime.
Yes and I've said that here. He makes sense as a coach to take a chance on (again no one is a guarantee) in multiple ways. Potential cost savings would be one.Couldn’t we do that with Brian Kelly? How much does LSU owe him?

All of this shows how awful Schiano and the entire program is. NW is light years ahead with similar resources.Which I'm assuming the Raiders are mostly paying not NW.

They only added a $1B in new facilities
And UMass is $2 Million. As we all know, similar isn’t same. The Athletic says Rutgers budget is $20M-$23M while Northwesterns budget is $21M - $25M. Our budget is likely closer to $20M while Northwesterns is likely closer to $25M. Much of the difference is likely in the amounts spent on the Quarterback. Northwestern got a good QB with big Ten experience. Our QB still needs to develop. You can also see a significant difference in the quality of the transfer classes.

I’m waiting for the Extention talks to start.I already see some on this board are beginning to fall for the GS mantra. “We almost beat ranked USC, things are improving.” The fact is we haven’t beaten a ranked opponent in, is it 44 tries? That statistic alone is mind boggling for a Big Ten team and a spot on reflection of coaching. I don’t know how many of those are attributable to GS but we’ve played many ranked opponents over the last six seasons, plus USC this year.
You have no idea what NE or RU are closer to. You are just spitting our data to support your narrative. RU chose to divide up its money in the way that it didAs we all know, similar isn’t same. Believe GS has. 30% B1G winning %I already see some on this board are beginning to fall for the GS mantra. “We almost beat ranked USC, things are improving.” The fact is we haven’t beaten a ranked opponent in, is it 44 tries? Except we beat them in 2023.All of this shows how awful Schiano and the entire program is. NW is light years ahead with similar resources.
Even worse. More evidence of the Schiano decline.Except we beat them in 2023.
He will kill us!I wouldn't say Chiles is proven good qb. IMO he's a qb with good potential but such a grab bag or Forest Gump's box of chocolates lol. Any play could turn out to be anything, even when he's making plays and you watch it happening in real time and it's like that play can go a bunch of different ways from fumble, int, poorly thrown ball or big positive play.
There's a lack of consistent crispness from him but he has shown flashes of it. Maybe Kelly is working on him this year so Chiles is veering more towards the positive end of the spectrum with performance and flow vs the negative.
Crazy. Everyone else is under reporting. And we’re over reporting. But he has 20+ years estimating experience. So he has that going for him.You have no idea what NE or RU are closer to. You are just spitting our data to support your narrative. RU chose to divide up its money in the way that it did
Based on their endowment, I don’t think we are that close.Crazy. Everyone else is under reporting. And we’re over reporting. But he has 20+ years estimating experience. So he has that going for him.
That close to what?Based on their endowment, I don’t think we are that close.
The reported numbers are posted in multiple places. We are both in the 20-25 range. And looking at their roster. No one pops out to be anything that would suggest they paid anything greater.
Maryland has a fieldhouse.NW did built a field house in 2018.
Talk about moving goal posts to fit your narrative!!! You just made up a $5 million difference out of thin air. Also, know what $5 mil buys? TWO UMass football teams!!!As we all know, similar isn’t same. The Athletic says Rutgers budget is $20M-$23M while Northwesterns budget is $21M - $25M.
