Did we get caught cheating at bass fishing or something?
Which edition of the Chicken Curse are you referring to? The one that stuck the longest was the lack of wins in bowl games.just struck again.
No USC team is safe from its power.

People misinterpret the Chicken Curse. The curse is not that SC will suck, it is that SC will always fall short, even if just barely.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.Having the best RB in the nation and losing him 2/3yrs to torn ACLs is a perfect example of the CC manifestation.
Thornwell getting the flu. It manifests in many, many different ways. It does not discriminate due to gender, sport, time or place. It always will be.
USC athletics. Outside of Spurrier and Tanner, have you ever seen any of the big 3 sustain themselves? How does Ray Tanner factor in? He broke through and won those natty's but then set baseball back to a place that hadn't been around in a long time. Then he hired Muschamp, Paris, and Beamer. What even is that?
Tanner is really the only story of sustained success with tangible results. Spurrier was the best ever as football coach at SC, but that is sort of a "tallest pygmy" thing when you look at his overall record and what was really accomplished.USC athletics. It does. I can't find any but apparently you can.Your google works
Baseball from 1975 until Tanner became AD.Examples?
I was thinking more modern day (since we joined the SEC) but Raines was good. He wasn't great in the SEC though.Baseball from 1975 until Tanner became AD.
And almost all of it in the first half!Chicken Curse: having the top rushing offense in the SEC but a 0-3 conference record.
And after all-out, global nuclear war, cockroaches and the chicken curse will remain. The chicken curse is REAL . . . stop kidding yourelves if you think it isn't.
So you're saying Gamecock Football would survive a nuclear holocaust? In that reality we would win a lot of games by forfeit. Sweet! And after all-out, global nuclear war, cockroaches and the chicken curse will remain.
The chicken curse would dictate that Gamecock football would survive and the only other teams that would survive would be UGA, Bama, Ohio State, Texas, Miami, Clemson and Oregon. So you're saying Gamecock Football would survive a nuclear holocaust? Chicken curse is the equivalent of surviving the nuclear holocaust but dying shortly after via gangrenous infection from stubbing your toe in the shower. So you're saying Gamecock Football would survive a nuclear holocaust? In that reality we would win a lot of games by forfeit. Sweet!
We would somehow lose to ourselves. So you're saying Gamecock Football would survive a nuclear holocaust? In that reality we would win a lot of games by forfeit. Sweet!
Aren't we doing that now?We would somehow lose to ourselves.
Yes - that would be the perfect manifestation - Well-done, sir!The chicken curse would dictate that Gamecock football would survive and the only other teams that would survive would be UGA, Bama, Ohio State, Texas, Miami, Clemson and Oregon.
