I might stay here full time. I just got told to not say phaggot on the iowa board. Thanks to you it's my new favorite word.
The Iowa board actually has some moderation. I'd say it's more like a local jail where the guards are close enough to peek in from time-to-time; where as this place is more like gen pop in a Russian prison in Siberia...no one cares what goes on.

Perfect analogy. I think I might be a good convict.

Some great ideas by Obama on how to handle immigration. I say we give them a shot!

You think that's bad? Check out Schmuck Chumer back in 2009.

Schumer's Right: Illegal Immigration Is Just Plain Wrong

Guess what happened. Trump agreed with him so he had to change his position. lol... If you read the transcript of his speech, you'd laugh your *** off. He was extolling the success of 300 miles of BORDER WALL..

So it’s cool to post pictures of a members grandmother over and over , but saying phaggot is taking it a little too far?

This is what I’ve said over and over again. Pay the jobs no one wants to do an actual living wage. It would keep illegals out and help support families that are willing to work.
Of course the libs think this is a terrible idea, could you imagine someone without a degree in art history being paid more than they are, doing a job they could never do.

I’m a conservative. Sorry that I understand Trump is the most liberal socialist since FDR. I hate Trump for being a big government socialist. You think I’m a liberal for hating a socialist.

Trump is why gas is near ATHs. Trump is why we have dead American soldiers and in a war we will not win. Trump is why we don’t have Republican free trade anymore. And the socialist is demanding for 0 percent interest rates.

every Americans life is worse today than it was 2 years ago. This is not an opinion. Keep worshiping your socialist god. I learned a long time ago there is no talking sense into a socialist.

You do make a good point laughing at my dead American solider point. They should have known what they are signing up for when a draft dodging socialist is president. So they deserve some blame.

I was laughing at you claiming to be a conservative. You’re a phucking liberal phaggot trying to derail the thread topic.

You don’t want to discuss dead American soldiers I promise .

But since you’re trying to derail the thread,. What was your take on the Lindsay Clancy trial? Let’s see how conservative you are, b!tch

This is what I find interesting about political discussions on this board (and our home board--HROT). If you oppose Trump, you're immediately labled a Democrat or a libtard. It's such a Sith way of thinking...If you're not with me, then you're my enemy.

I'm a conservative too, but I'm not a Trump supporter. That doesn't make me a Democrat. I'm actually an independent now. And I think that kind of binary thinking stifles any chance of having a rational conversation. You can be conservative and disagree with Trump. You can be liberal and disagree with Democrats. Heck, I've been expressing my support of his Greenland agreement. From what I've read so far, it's really good for American defense posture, so kudos to him on that one.

I’m a conservative. I’ve only listed issues of Trump that deal with his liberal economic policies and other pro federal government policies.

and my view of Lindsey Clancy is that she’s clearly insane and that means you have no place in society. If that was my wife I would have made sure she was dead before calling an ambulance. Unfortunately her creep husband saved her. World would be better and safer place is both were removed from society.

and assuming you’re a conservative. What changed when you voted Trump for wanting to end wars and lower cost in 2016 and now when he is for raising prices and starting forever wars?

Do you honestly support war with Iran? And assuming yes, what do you think of our king ignoring congressional approval?

Exactly. Both sides are screwed up because there is only blind loyalty. Still blows my mind no Republican ran in 2024 against Trump.

I would have called Trump out for shutting down the country for Covid and pushing his clot shot with big pharma protections. I’d point out he is a pedo. Also how his liberal tariffs are so Democrat that Biden continued them. Really assume a Republican would have ran against him on conservative values.

Really, PedMaller? You’re going to look at that Rubio tweet with a straight face? Even without digging into it, my first reaction was he was clearly using an extreme example to get an emotional response.

Do you really believe the typical American who worked 40 years is getting an $800 SS check? According to the SSA, the average monthly benefit for a retired worker was $2,086 in July 2026. And among the 3.92 million people awarded retirement benefits in 2025, only 5.8% received between $800 and $999. So sure, people certainly receive $800 checks (my mom included), but that's nowhere close to the typical retired worker--I'm on track for $2,700 at 62 (not even full retirement age).

And Rubio's other comparison needs some context too. He described the $1,500 as total benefits, including Medicaid, food assistance, children's healthcare and refugee cash assistance..NOT a $1,500 monthly check. Cuban imigrants are eligible for refugee resettlement assistance but those benefits are temporary.

This is no different than what I tell JHP...research your stuff! There's often a real issue buried in them, but the way the numbers are presented can make an exceptional case sound like the norm.

And to your actual ask, no, my vote will never be isolated to a single issue. I'm going to look at the whole picture.

Guess we’ll have to disagree on whether or not tax money should be spent on illegals & lazy grifters.

And there it is. I give you the actual numbers behind Rubio's claim, explain that the $800 SS example is an extreme minority rather than the typical retiree, and your response is to call people "illegals & lazy grifters."

That's exactly the crap I'm talking about. I'm not arguing government should provide unlimited benefits to anyone who crosses the border. I'm saying we should at least look at what the actual programs are, who qualifies, and what they actually receive before drawing conclusions from a viral clip. You can believe those programs are too generous, poorly designed or heck, shouldn't even exist. But calling the recipients "lazy grifters" isn't an argument, and it doesn't address the numbers I literally just gave you.

Not to mention lazy grifters is laughable. :ROFLMAO: Care to take a guess what percentage of labor force these "lazy" people account for, you know farming workers, roofers, construction workers, maids/house keepers, etc. ? They work harder than half the lazy welfare people sitting on the front porch of their trailer, no?

The Iowa site is like a cult where you can either be part of that cult or you’re ridiculed, threaten, or banned. The rules of the board don’t actually apply.

The thing is most of your example is Hispanics. I 100% agree Hispanics work hard at all those jobs you mentioned. What you fail to realize is that there is more than one nationality here illegally. I work at a place where plenty of illegal families are getting free goods and most of them are not Hispanic.

He didn’t say everyone, dumba$$….quit making **** up! He specifically said “$800, $900, $1000/month” which applies to more than just your incorrectly claimed “extreme minority”.

Illegals don’t deserve one penny of tax money. Those that work shouldn’t need handouts & those capable of working but choose not to……can f’ck right off.
