Then you don't know what winning is!

The leaders of Iran are wealthy and don't give a shiit about the citizens of the country.
What motivation would they have to cave in to US demands?
See, that's one of the biggest miscalculations of this WH. The leaders of the IRGC haven't suffered at all.
What the US/Trump has done is cause hardship for the rest of the world. And I think it's safe to say they underestimated the assistance Iran would get from Russia/China/NK.

There has been no meaningful change in Iran's leadership, nor have we disabled nuclear aspirations.
Get your head out of your azz and see the big picture.
We haven't disabled their nuclear aspirations?! Complete and total clown show. Anyone can aspire to do anything, but thinking Iran's nuclear capabilites haven't been severely setback is crazy talk.

We aren't winning because ..... the leaders of Iran are wealthy? ok.

We are really grasping for straws here.

Iran is getting their *** kicked militarily. Iran is getting their *** kicked economically. Iran's main weapon is chaos and their ability to create that is dwindling by the day. We sank two of their tankers after we told them we were going to do it. They have no ability to stop us. They are isolated economically.

By any measure the USA is dominating Iran. Never underestimate the United States Military.

we are spending about a billion per day to escort ships through. How much were we spending before?

and lol at winning and meeting our objectives. Winning = completely destroying Iran’s nuclear program, the same one that we completely destroyed a year before.

Trump has said that he wanted a complete unconditional surrender and all of the uranium in Iran. I guess we’re just gonna forget about that part and say we won.

If Iran was helpless, militarily, we wouldn't be getting the day missile attacks in the region against US bases in MULTIPLE countries.
Stop assuming everything you're hearing from the State Dept is accurate.
In fact, based on recent history, you shouldn't believe anything.
Remember last October when Trump claimed COMPLETE destruction of facilities with the bunker busters used?
Iran has planned for this"war" for 60 years.
Nothing destroys Iran's capabilities except a ground invasion, and we all know that ain't happening.

Just withdraw, claim victory, and stop destroying America.

That would be cool if true but let's see what grok has to say about this channel.

No credible evidence supports the claim that the US Navy (or anyone) recently dredged a new or significantly widened channel between the Omani islands (near Jazirat Musandam / Al Khil) to create a special tanker route.

The viral posts and Morse Report interpretation rely on satellite imagery highlighting a passage. Independent assessments identify this as the long-charted natural feature known as Fakk al Asad (or Bab Musandam)—a deep-water gap between Ras al Bab (on the Musandam Peninsula) and Jazirat Musandam. Nautical sailing directions describe it as a clear, deep strait usable by power vessels with local knowledge; reported widths and depths (~0.2 mile / roughly matching the cited ~1,600 ft width and ~93 ft depth in places) align with existing charts rather than new excavation.

Key points against the claim:

No official confirmation from the US military, White House, CENTCOM, or Omani authorities.
No independent satellite analysis, commercial imagery providers, or maritime reporting has shown dredging signatures (e.g., equipment, sediment plumes, spoil disposal, or progressive bathymetric changes).

Recent imagery reviews describe the feature as unchanged and natural, with no engineering activity visible in the area.

The southern/Omani-side routes have been used more heavily during 2026 tensions (for coordination, escorts, “dark” transits, and mine avoidance), and the US has publicly emphasized mine-clearance operations in the broader strait. Those are distinct from creating a new dredged corridor.

In short, the imagery appears to show a pre-existing geographic passage that was misinterpreted (or overstated) as evidence of recent covert dredging. Larger conceptual ideas for Hormuz-bypass canals across the Musandam Peninsula exist as studies, but they are unrelated engineering proposals, not completed or ongoing work. The specific “US Navy dredged this path” assertion remains unverified and is contradicted by available charts, imagery analysis, and the lack of corroborating evidence.

Well, then.

Who has been saying Iran is winning? I think the overwhelming consensus has been no one is winning. Even when we eventually walk away we won’t have “won” unless Iran surrenders…which seems far fetched.
Iran wins by not losing. The US loses by not winning.

Oil availability is no longer the problem,.. Main issue now is product specific refining capacity.

Here's the wonder of the modern day "alternative facts" MAGAt news cycle ... when/if the Strait is finally "free" ... the MAGAts will hail it as a great victory. They will throw it in the faces of the non-MAGAts as yet another thing they were wrong about ... yet another "fake media" conspiracy that was proven wrong ... yet another display of our military might.

Yet, it's all a complete failure, because it never should have happened in the first place, and folks underwent unneeded suffering as a result of this failure, and getting it somewhat back to the status quo is not a success, but a partial, embarrassing remediation of an already established embarrassing failure by the MAGAts.

But, going forward, MAGAts will only know it as a Borat'esque "great success."

This was aired March 1....... You should understand the timeline to understand the context of what is being said. Also, why post this today? Because this is a sock puppet account most likely for Trump's regime.
When I read posts on this board, it is evident that we all live in our own heads unless brain dead. Life down The Rabbit Hole.

One day it will be fun to go back through this thread and see who was doubting the US military.

Even the NY times is admitting that we are devastating Iran.
