Dick Sheridan was my coach in high school and was the NCS coach then. My seats that year were in the end zone where the student section is now and I had moved down to where I could speak with him and wish him luck when they came out the tunnel but W-B was friggin rocking; I had never seen fear in Sheridan before and it shocked me so I didn’t even try to get his attention. I was standing over the visitor's tunnel when they came out, they looked awe struck. Then Sterling Sharpe ran the opening kickoff back for a TD and the route was on.
