I understand the reasons for leaving and it was time for a speration. I clearly stated I was all for him getting his flowers after he leaves Arkansas. Not sure how I'm not processing his departure. He's clearly a hypocrite because he always played in the gray area of eligibility from his time at UMass to Kentucky. My issue is he always been about "players first" but now all of a sudden he's not. He wants his players first. He only cares about rules now because it doesn't benefit him. He didn't give two sh*ts if a player was gonna be cut he just wanted to make sure his team got the benefit. You could see that if coach cal wasn't in your mouth.

But now all of a sudden we have to have strict rules for eligibility when he has said otherwise for years? Enes Kanter ring a bell to you? He was one of the first professionals from Europe ever to attempt to play college basketball. Cal was all over the place advocating for his eligibility knowing good and well Kanter indeed received money. Where is that player advocacy now? Where is that energy now? It's no where to be found because the player in question was going to help us not his team. (Read this part slow or have someone read it to you) But he didn't want Mitchell in Lexington because it made us better than Arkansas. His only way to prevent it was to act like he cares about rules all of a sudden therefore benefiting him and his team. Who me? I don't care what he does personally. I appreciate the good times we had but I also acknowledge the fact a separation was probably a good thing.
