This is a tough one. I agree that she received terrible care from her doctors and was terribly over medicate. But I do think she is responsible for the death of her kids. When she heard voices to kill her kids she could have run out of the house, told her husband, friend or family member. A lot to unpack here, but I think she should be found guilty by reason of in insanity.

Husband dosed her up. Killed em and tossed her out the window. What does he gain from all this?

Premeditated, planned and executed doesn't look like insanity to me!

I think it`s very complicated and I think I would have to hear all of the testimony, like the jurors, to come to a decision. All of the pics with her kids and her husband saying she was a good mother(until) do make me wonder and I think postpartum depression is common - the psychosis less so. I never heard whether she was on the several of the meds all at one time or they were changed and maybe not so many. None of the medications by themselves, or in some combinations, are alarming but people do have unique reactions to even the more common ones, although not that often in terms of serious side effects/reactions. I have just seen the list and to just see that does make it look bad, especially if she was taking more that one of the classes of drugs at the same time. However, the thing that bothers me the most is that she asked her husband to go to CVS before she killed them. Obviously the act was not spontaneous as a result. Whether or not she was experiencing command voices is something only she knows for sure. I don`t think she testified on her own behalf either, which always makes me somewhat skeptical, although we all all know lawyers are capable of distorting what you say in a courtroom to make it seem like you said or meant something that you didn`t. Sounds like it`s going to be a hung jury based on the latest this am. I think they made a big mistake by not sequestering the jury - too much media coverage to avoid - hard to believe all jurors were completely shielded from others` opinions.

Breaking: Jury deadlocked. Judge orders them to keep deliberating.

Unreal.

I can't find it now but there was a clip of a female doctor being interviewed on Fox News about this. The host asked, very rationally, if getting lost in all of the details was sympathy for the 3 children that were murdered. The lady being interviewed went borderline ballistic b/c it's all about Clancy.

This thing is headed for a mistrial. Nine women and 3 men. Zero percent chance you're going to get a unanimous verdict either way. Several of the female jurors showed up wearing pink, which is what women have been wearing to support Clancy.

Mistrial could be good. Now that the defense has played their cards, it gives them the chance to strengthen their case and bring the charges again.

Well, evidently that isn't sufficient because THEY can't come to a decision. The prosecution might as well plead it out, no matter how guilty she is.

Sadly, that may be the best they can do. If there is even one woman on the jury, the prosecution is likely screwed.

Post party psychosis. (Different than postpartum depression)

Basically, in my mind, she's saying "yeah, I killed my kids but my hormones were making me crazy".
You referring to all those party drugs she was taking for her psychoses?

No, I read somewhere (probably not official) that she was claiming to have the psychosis, which is rarer and more severe than the depression.

The multitude of drugs were probably in reaponse to that. She was apparently on a lot of drugs though.

Got me curious. What sort of "huh"?

Is there a legitimate case for insanity buried on there?

I don’t know, but I wish we could get back to men’s murderers. Nobody watches nor cares about women’s murderers.

Others can try but the dude(? 19) who killed his soccer girlfriend and then his mother tried to help him conceal it is saying voices told him to kill her. I think he is full of crap & def. should be fried or put away forever. I do think this case is not cut and dried like that one seems to be. Is Guilty but Mentally Ill not an option in that state? Isn`t that what John Hinckley, Mark David Chapman got or something similar? You don`t walk free with that, you end up in a psych. facility for years. Not saying she should get that(definitely is guilty) but I haven`t heard that mentioned as an option.

The huh is some of the things used as evidence against her that doesn’t make sense. Like why would a registered nurse google where is the carotid artery. That search was on her computer. Like a realtor asking was is a commission or a banker asking what is a deposit.
His alibi is trash. Her body temp was physically impossible in the time frame of murder meaning she had to be laying outside longer.

guilty BUT told her parents and others she thought of harming kids. How the hell do they let her leave ,if it's my daughter I put her in psyche ward for 72 hours minimum. i've seen postpartum up close and personal and it is a very serious condition. To think loved ones would ignore your complaints is incomprehensible.to me no death penalty, maybe 20yrs in psyche prison

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. She did seek help numerous times, including having herself admitted. She looks very happy in the pics with her kids that they show. So tragic on all accounts - nobody wins here no matter what the verdict is. Living the rest of your life in a wheelchair could be construed as partial karma by some, although yes she is still alive.

I get the search. That sounds odd.

I read a comment section of one article, so take it fwiw, but one was arguing that he was literally on camera at a CVS? or something at the time of death or within minutes of it?

I had not heard of body temp thong, but that is interesting too.

Thanks.

Wow, that’s out there.
Actually, no it isn't that far out there, it can be absolutely horrible was some people do to others. I used to work with a person who murdered his wife and attempted to cover his tracks by staging her death as a suicide. While I have not been following this particular case, I have been learning more about the suicide of Mica Miller, which I think needs to be revisited by our SBI.

Research the time line of the husband and the clothes he was wearing. It’s Sus. I’m not saying he did it I’m just saying there is enough to question. His time line, clothes change, her body temp and one infant was still alive. Read into that.
