only a TRO ( Temporary Restraining Order) preventing the SEC from enforcing their newly passed rule. He was a Louisiana based judge and it involves three LSU hopefuls. I think the case will be argued first week of September.
Not a lawyer, but married one and father to another. I cannot see a federal judge restraining a school or conference of schools from determining their own eligibility rules other than those subject to federal law regarding race, religion, etc.

Thanks for that. I didn't know that the Ravens let Stout go. Probably not a smart move by them since they are not thrilled with the current FG kicker.
Free Agent with a DUI arrest hanging over him. I'd guess that he's played his last down in the NFL.
I knew he wasn't cut I just thought the Ravens would do more to keep him.
He is a terrific punter and KO guy and could handle FG in a pinch and their current kicker is not doing so well.
