Regarding ESPN/WWE... If we operate under the scenario it's true, what do you expect Disney/ESPN to do? Come out and say "we signed a bad deal, but we can't get out of it now so we're not going to renew it when it expires?" They'll either not say anything or issue an official statement to deny it.

If we operate under the scenario it's false, what do you expect Disney/ESPN to do? They'll either go on official record to say it's false or they'll ignore it.

They are a publicly traded company, the contract is worth $325 million a year, even if it were true, they'd never voluntarily and officially admit during it that they screwed it up because that would hurt their stock price. And no executive would ever do that either unless they wanted to be fired.

How many years is it going to take for you to learn what an interview is?
There’s 2 ways to answer an interview question the right way and the wrong way - promoting all in by rambling about wwe is certainly a choice…
When Roman was on espn before wm he talked about punk not a different company…
Maybe will should have focused on omega and London (promoting the event which is what media is about)

The espn package is a disaster anyways - wwe is just part of the loss in play for it. And no one is paying for it in the summer when it’s no sports it’s essentially for cbb and cfb out of market

Do you not understand what questions are?

If the interviewer asks you a question you stay on topic, not say whatever the hell you want. That's a good way to not get brought back on these shows.

That would be like me asking you in this thread "Who is your favorite AEW wrestler" then you explaining why Dragon Bane from NOAH is your favorite wrestler.

Don’t understand why WWE fans are so bent out of shape when AEW mentions them…WWE is so insanely large and untouched by AEW. Ratings? WWE by a wide margin. Attendance? WWE by a wide margin. Popularity/mass appeal? WWE by a wide margin. WWE only fans are under no threat — AEW is a much smaller company and smaller companies have historically punched up. Do I prefer AEW to mention WWE? No, I don’t. I barely know what is even happening in WWE so I’m not impressed by that. Am I bothered or care? No. I don’t see why it matters. If both companies were REAL competitors, I think that stuff would matter. In 2026, for most people, wresting is WWE and AEW is that thing they heard about that time. I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon.

I’m not saying there may not be one-offs. Also, it’s an apples to oranges comparison to start with. All In is AEW’s largest show by far. SummerSlam is WWE’s second biggest show, and as big as it is, it is dwarfed by WrestleMania. I bet if we weren’t having this discussion right now and you were randomly thinking about attendance, you’d probably be pretty confident WWE is much more successful in that regard by a wide margin.
