I would think that volleyball players' explosiveness could transfer over to wrestling really well.Mostly gymnastics but she's not wrong. I'm not even sure how amateur wrestling helps pro wrestling.
I think it’s more athleticism and fluidity than anything else and some sports have more of that than others.I would think that volleyball players' explosiveness could transfer over to wrestling really well.

There’s a reason why almost every single former football player that becomes a wrestler isn’t a 360 tub of lard from the offensive/defensive line, a quarterback, or a kicker.
Pat’s a good example of why not to hire kickersPat mcafee likes this
I don’t really care about his larger point, I just find it interesting that anything not inside the ring loses viewers for AEW.

That’s part of the problem but the “normal” two-hour window was lower as well. It’s why he gives away big matches on tv that’s what the fans want. I doubt the MJF promos drop ratings. Didn’t Alvarez blame the ratings dip on the overrun?
It also doesn’t help they had to condense the storylines b/c MJF and Thekla lost the belts after the challenger was determined so it isn’t the usual storyline build after the Owen winnerThat’s part of the problem but the “normal” two-hour window was lower as well.
The show “only” had 1 hour of wrestling over 2.5 hours. Normally it’s right around 50%.
Ratings must have fallen off a cliff during that extended backstage segment with Kenny and Ospreay.
Other than inserting DCF into the men’s world title story, I’ve thought the build of the two world title matches has largely been good to great with several non-match segments being standouts. Actually some of the best non-match segments in company history, in my opinion. It also doesn’t help they had to condense the storylines b/c MJF and Thekla lost the belts after the challenger was determined so it isn’t the usual storyline build after the Owen winner
Axios allegedly (as what I read didn't have a link to the Axios report for me to verify) reports that around four out of five ESPN Unlimited subscribers get the app thru the Hulu and Disney+ bundle, so seems like quite a lot of people are actually paying for it.Regardless people aren’t shelling out 30 a month for wwe even if they were paying 10 a month for peacock.
I thought that was part of the Hulu and Disney bundle? Feels backwards to me - Do they get it as a discounted add on or pay the 30 on top of Hulu/disney?Axios allegedly (as what I read didn't have a link to the Axios report for me to verify) reports that around four out of five ESPN Unlimited subscribers get the app thru the Hulu and Disney+ bundle, so seems like quite a lot of people are actually paying for it.
Jesus...I don't know if she will ever get right from what seemed to be a relatively "minor" injury. That's awful.
It’s an add on. I have the Hulu/Disney bundle and I don’t get anything ESPN on there. I haven’t looked into the pricing because I’m not interested.I thought that was part of the Hulu and Disney bundle? I wouldn’t be surprised by if carpal tunnel was delaying her finger injury from healing too. Especially with the kid, she might be out long enough to make her realize being retired and spending time with the kid isn’t the worst idea in the world. I’m sure she could find something to do to make herself feel fulfilled beyond being a mother/wife without having to put herself through being a wrestler again.Jesus...I don't know if she will ever get right from what seemed to be a relatively "minor" injury. Well there’s bundle with ESPN+ and there’s another with ESPN Unlimited if I remember correctly. Or maybe things have changed. Now I think and dont quote me on this, but I have the bundle with all three, but I did not get the Unlimited through the package I had. I didn't get it until Spectrum made it a part of my subscription. At least I am pretty sure that is how it shook out.
I think the ESPN+ bundle is the one that I have.Well there’s bundle with ESPN+ and there’s another with ESPN Unlimited if I remember correctly. Or maybe things have changed.

So I believe it's the same guy who keeps reporting AEW does 500,000 viewers on Max every week posted something saying ESPN was dumping WWE once their deal was up. ESPN and WWE both say it's totally not true.
Ya it sucks b/c she’s way better then boring annoying Liv Morgan but ya you never know when your career is over.I wouldn’t be surprised by if carpal tunnel was delaying her finger injury from healing too. While obviously they have not officially decided one way or the other because that would be stupid, but, and this was posted before ESPN refuted that one part of the report...That's the one I have too.

It's always been a bit of an eyebrow raiser that ESPN has never once sent out any releases about WWE viewership when they an entire Twitter account dedicated for that. And they don't exactly limit it to the major things either, for example...
Like you're telling me if they are going to toot their own horn about the above the things that they wouldn't brag about WWE if it was doing big numbers relative to what they are paying for it?
