I think I agree with you.
On the one hand, I do not believe any of the class of '22 players have a right to an extra year.
But, OTOH, if a court is going to give them an extra year, then you have to forgive the fact they tried to go pro, likely did not maintain their required academic status, received money from unallowed sources, etc. They likely would not have done all that if they were given an extra college year.
I think this inta-conference transfer rule is inapplicable as well. They are not transferring from UMiss; they are transferring from the NFL. You cannot say their college career is over, then double back and say they are still on the roster of their old school.
