Come on, now! Really?Flyers win, can't deny it, but that facemask call was bogus.
Really? They probably won't lose another game. What a weird game, but ESL made the plays that needed to be made when they needed to be made.
Have to hope MJC is okay.
The questions for MC were the correct questions.
Long season ahead...
Left in second. Looks to be a shoulder injury. Came back out in the second half in street clothes. Was in a lot of pain.Early word was MJC was beasting MC... so why is he out?
No I mean there are 8 more regular season games ahead and then 4-5 playoff games.Really? They probably won't lose another game.

Also word on the street is ESL starting center and both starting guards are ineligible. Transfer issues..Back ups started.

Lot of talk about the mc qb leading up to today. I thought he looked good. Def dont see the qb as someone who will prevent you from winning state.Hats off to Eastside. We got smacked around. Sometimes a good butt kicking is what you need. Lot to clean up. Really disappointed in how they played, rather they would have lost 50-0. Anxious to see how they respond.
Trust me getting cooked and shut out doesnt feel better.Hats off to Eastside. We got smacked around. Sometimes a good butt kicking is what you need. Lot to clean up. Really disappointed in how they played, rather they would have lost 50-0. Anxious to see how they respond.
Must have not wanted to listen to EEEES-IIIIIII
Every player should have had to journal their feelings after that game and every subsequent team read those thoughts.East St Louis was still mad about Fenwick.
Edgy vids on X.
21:00 on game tape. Impressive run.MJC RUMBLES, BUMBLES AND TUMBLES for another six! Tucker, WInters and others run over.
Floyd was on coverage for this, but also caused the killer fumble.Deep to Marshawn - TD!
Park Ridge kid a QB for this play. 1:18 2q.
7-6 MC.

That was a cheap shot. For someone whose teams underperform in the state championship games, I thought you might be a bit more gracious.
But, you won fair and squaare. Good luck gooing forward.
Please excuse typos. Eye problems.
Praying for a miracle. We are gonna need those linemen and MJC down in FLA.
They were just leaving to get prime parking at Wally’s to get the snacks needed for the ride back through construction. Understand the rush. That was a cheap shot. For someone who's teams underperform in the state championship games, I thought you might be a bit more gracious.

We did back in 1983, one of the most hyped Loyola teams and we didn't get it done. We were ranked #1 by Tribune and SunTimes and 16th in the nation by USA Today preseason. We had the talent - guys who went to Stanford, Ohio State and Brigham Young to name a few. Our class won CCL 1980 and 1981, 6-3 our junior year. We were hit with some injuries and a few other things, but we just didn't get it done and ended up 3-6. Definitely something you don't get over.Between Brother Rice and Mt. Carmel do we have the CCL with 20 plus penalties this weekend? Does talent equate to discipline and intelligence or not? Just a question. I don’t remember Loyola self destructing like these two games have shown.
I was asking myself the same question. I knew MJC and Gomiller were studs and wasn’t surprised by what they did. I was surprised and impressed by ESL’s Oline and QB, though. I thought the Oline more than held their own against MC’s front seven, which I thought would not be the case. And I knew the QB was a returning starter, but didn’t know how good he was. Very athletic and very good, accurate passer who made good decisions. Considering how good the offense looked in Week 1 against that caliber of defense, this looked like it might be one of ESL’s better offenses.MJC is a stud as we all knew that but even more scary is how Gohmiller put a surge in the ESL offense that the MC defense had a tough time answering for. Could this be one of the best ESL offensive units they’ve had?
